Aurora woke up and checked her phone for the time when she realized she overslept.

"shit," she said jumping out of bed fast and got her clothes and took a quick shower and put the clean clothes on and put her dirty ones in her basket in her room and got her things, and ran out the door not bothering saying goodbye to whoever was still in the house.

Aurora was with Webber and Maggie and Bailey with a patient who has a tree branch stuck in him. There were other doctors in there helping to the back side of the branch cut off.

"Okay, we need to get this man on his back in less than 60 seconds. Got to work faster" Webber told the three.

"One more inch to the right, he'd be D.O.A. How you want to proceed?" Bailey asked Aurora who is doing the ultrasound.

"Ultrasound's negative for fluid around the heart, so I would do a Lapararomy," Aurora said looking at the the screen of the ultrasound.

"Yeah?"

The patient then started coughing and coughed out blood onto Maggie, Aurora stuck the ultrasound thing back in its place.

"His airway is compromised. He needs a chest tube and incubation now"

"Yeah, we're almost done here, okay? It'll be safer on his back"

"No there's no time. I'll have to go in nasally 7-0 E.T. Tube? Charlie, I hate to tell you this, but your day is actually about to get a little worse. Hold the work!" Maggie said

The doctor stopped sawing the back side for a moment while Maggie did the tube, Aurora was helping keep Charlie on his side.
Once Maggie did the tube the doctor went back to sawing. After a couple of more seconds the doctor sawed it off and others helped him on his back.

Aurora was just getting her regular clothes on when Amelia came in.

"Hey," Aurora said with a small smile.

Amelia took a glance at her. "Hey"

Aurora noticed something was wrong so she walked up to her. "Everything okay?"

Amelia sighed and shook her head and turned to face Aurora "No not really Derek is kinda being a jerk"

"Wanna talk about it?" Aurora asked.

"He took my patient into his own hands and called the shots," Amelia said

Aurora nodded and put her hands in her pocket "That is Derek for you"

Amelia chuckled a little "Yeah I guess"

Aurora thought for a moment "You are off now right?"

Amelia nodded "Yeah why you ask?"

"Well I was thinking about when either of us have a bad day we could do friends with benefits but only if you want to because I did hear it helps with the stress of that day or week"

Amelia thought for a moment and nodded "Yeah sure but are you sure?" she asked just to make sure.

Aurora nodded "yeah I'm sure"
