Aurora was in the lounge with the others just talking.
"Hey, Torres, I need help on a hip disarticulation today. You want in?" Owen asked walking into the room.
"Ooh, maybe," Callie said taking the carafe from Aurora who was handing it to her.
"Uh, wait, you have to finish your story. So, you actually had to break his knee?" Maggie asked walking up to fill her cup with coffee.
"No. So, I had to shove the rod back in there even harder, and it wound up cracking the tibial plateau. Can I help you?" Callie asked looking over at Alex.
"You're hogging the pot"
Aurora rolled her eyes at Alex. "Maybe ask nicely, like a civilized human being," she said and moving away and going to sit down.
"Callie?"
"Hmm?"
"May I have the carafe, please?" Maggie asked.
"Oh! Mm-hmm" Callie said handing it to her.
"See? It's quite easy, actually. Really?" Maggie asked when Alex moved his cup to get filled. "Hey, I heard there was weather near Dulles. Derek's flight got delayed, didn't it?"
"Pierce, my gallbladder guy's pacemaker keeps misfiring. You think you can take a look at it?"
"Yeah, uh, I could do it right now," Maggie said.
"Derek is dead," Meredith said quietly.
"No, you can't. No, um, I need you to place an IVC filter oh my Laminectomy patient"
"Okay, right. Um, I could swing by in about 20"
"Derek is dead," Meredith said a little louder, but not loud enough where they can make out what she said.
"What was that?"
"Derek... Is dead"
Aurora looked at Meredith shocked on what she said.
"Meredith..." Richard said.
"Meredith..."
"He's not dead"
"Meredith, what do you mean? Meredith?" Owen asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Meredith?"
"Meredith?" Aurora asked.
"What do you-- No!"
Aurora noticed Meredith going to pass out so she hurriedly got up and ran and caught Meredith and gently laid her on the floor.

Aurora walked into the scrub and met eyes and Callie who looked at Amelia and shook her head.
