Aurora just walked up to the nurse station on the trauma floor.

"Hey, we need to re-stock the supply cart, in trauma two right away," Aurora told the nurse.

"Right away"

Aurora was now looking at the tablet when Arizona walked up to her.

"Hey, that kid in bed two's ready to be discharged"

Amelia then walked up to them. "Ditto bed one, who has hypochondria. And not a giant tumor growing in her head"

"Um, heard anything from Herman? How's she doing?" Aurora asked looking over to Arizona.

"Ooh, um... enjoying blind institute. Learning how to not bump into things. Not typing this, obvi. Don't kill any babies" Arizona said as she read off the text Herman sent her.

"Okay, well, she sounds all right," Aurora said, and then the phone continued to ring. "Is somebody gonna answer that call?"

"Not it," Amelia said going to walk away.

"Yeah, no, all yours"

Aurora sighed and went to answer the phone. "Grey-Sloan emergency"

"Is this the hospital? I need help"

"Well, you need to hang up and call 911," Aurora said to the little girl on the phone.

"I tried. It was busy. My mom fell off a chair. She's not moving. I-I don't know what to do. What do I do?"

Aurora covered her other ear to try and hear better. "Your-- your what? Your mom? How old are you?"

"I'm 11"

Aurora sighs a little and looks around. "Where are you?"

"O-Our cabin. I don't know. The power's out. Please help"

"All right, it's all right. Just-- just hang on. Somebody-- Kepner, get on with 911. And her them to trade the call on line three right now. It's a kid with her injured mom in the mountains somewhere. Go" Aurora said to April as she walked by.

"Okay"

"Are you still there?"

"I'm here. I'm right here. What's your name?" Aurora asked the girl.

"Ruby"

"Ruby, I'm Aurora"

"Are you a doctor? Can-- Can you help?"

"I can. I'm right here, and I'm going to help you" Aurora told Ruby.

Aurora was still on the phone with Ruby.

"We were making S'mores. She was getting hot chocolate from the cabinet. She was standing on the chair, and then everything was shaking. Then she fell. Now-- now she's on the floor. I-I can barely see anything" Ruby said, still freaking out a little.

"She's on the floor. Is she awake?"

"No. What do I do?"

Aurora then pulled the phone away from her ear and covered the speaker. "Shh. Quiet, please"

The talking didn't stop.

"She said, quiet!" April told them.

Aurora looked at April for a few seconds and then looked away. "Ruby, I am gonna move to another phone. So I can hear you better"
