"A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing"

- George Bernard Shaw

Aurora was in the elevator when Amelia made her way inside.

"Hey"

Amelia looked over at her for a moment. "Hi"

"Amelia"

Amelia turned to look at her. "I just don't think this-- us-- is a good idea. Mixing work and play"

"Play?" Aurora said with a little scoff. "Play? What am I now, some screw?"

"I didn't say that"

"This is of was more Amelia, and you know that and I know that it was more"

Amelia sighs. "I don't have any more to give. But look I'm not trying to hurt you"

"I'm not hurt. I get it. And... I'm done"

"Aurora"

Aurora looked at her. "You don't want real, anymore. And you probably just want the play now. You want the high. You want the rush. And I'm not doing that. I'm not interested in that, so I'm done" she said and began to walk out the elevator but stopped and turned to face her. "And your shoes are untied by the way"

🏥🏥🏥

Aurora was standing in the doorway of the MRI scan room.

"So, It's kind of an amazing story. It was their first date, and they both--"

Amelia sighs. "Grey, in or out, please?"

"I just need to know if Kate is good to go to the O.R. for abdominal surgery"

"I'm looking," Amelia said.

"Please look fast. I'm on a timeframe here"

"I will not hold you up"

Aurora rolls her eyes a little. "Because this lady will bleed out if I don't get her up there"

"Yes, I am aware you are impatient. I can't make it my problem"

"Does the patient have a brain bleed or not? Amelia?" Aurora snapped a little.

Amelia sighs and takes a glance over at Aurora and then back to the computer. "She looks clear"

"Edwards, take her up to O.R. 2," Aurora said walking out of the room.

🏥🏥🏥

Aurora was in Kate's room filling her in on how her surgery went. Stephanie was standing beside of her.

"We managed to fix the intestinal tears without having to resect the bowel you're actually pretty lucky with the kind of sudden impact you took, it could have been a lot worse," Aurora told Kate.
