"Many things will catch your eye, but only a few will capture your heart. Pursue those"

                                                            - Unknown

Aurora was in the on-call, room making out with Amelia when her pager started to go off.

"Pager"

"No!"

Aurora sighs. "I know. But hey" she said looking at Amelia but didn't finish what she was going to say and kissed her again.

Amelia kissed back when yet again Aurora's pager went off.

"I'm sorry. Later. We will continue this later" Aurora told her getting up from the bed and grabbing her coat and pager.

"We better"

🏥🏥🏥

Aurora was waiting by the doors for the patient to be wheeled in so she could check them out.

"I can't move this damn thing"

"65-year-old male complaining of chest pains"

"Let me go. Let me go!"

"This the driver?" Aurora asked putting on some gloves.

"Vehicle's totaled-- amazing he even survived"

The patient groans. "Get me out of this thing! I just want to buy some shoes!"

"Is he drunk?" Aurora asked since it seemed like he was to her.

"Seems to be. They said he came too disoriented, too combative for an exam"

Aurora nods and she and Ben help try and examine him, while he is was trying to get them away from him.

"Who are you? Give-- Give me my car keys"

"Sir, just calm down," Aurora told him trying to get him to calm down.

"Just find my damn keys!"

Aurora sighs. "Sir, we need to examine you. You've got to be still"

"Oh, god, do you ever shut up for a sec-- Oh!"

Aurora rolled her eyes. "Do you?" she mumbled.

"Abdominal tenderness, feels like multiple fractures. There could be some internal bleeding"

"Would you back off?!"

"Sir, I need to listen to your heart," Aurora told him.

"And I said get the hell away from me!" the man said and punched her in the face.

Aurora fell back into the empty gurney behind her and then to the ground, knocked out.
