"move your foot a little to the left." Jim instructed. training Toby down in the forge was something Jim did not think he would be doing this time around. let alone training Claire too. Toby was clad in his armor with daylight out in front of him. he listened to Jim and widened his stance. Claire had a strong but light weight metal staff that she was practicing with on ARRRGGH!.

they had all met Douxie and even invited him down to trollmarket, which he gratefully accepted. although, the trolls would have had a fit if another human was allowed into trollmarket. Douxie, being the master illusionist he is, created a troll disguise for himself, when he wasn't covered in his cloak and mask.

a simple form, royal blue skin with two straight horns coming from the top of his head and one tusk that protruded from his bottom lip. his hazel eyes looked more yellow against the dark skin. Douxie's troll disguise didn't look too far off of Jim's half troll form and they were often referred to as true siblings. except for the fact that the wizard was shorter and slimmer than Jim because he just didn't want to change his physique. Douxie wasn't in trollmarket at the moment.

"is this how you thought you'd be spending your birthday?" Toby asked with a laugh as him and Jim spared.

"training? It's not something new. training was how i spent my last 16th birthday." Jim said with a laugh as he used one hand to block and strike at Toby.

"seriously? Blinky, you got ta give this man a break sometimes." the stout teen called out to their mentor. Jim and Toby laughed as the troll gave them a glare.

"Master Tobias, do you think Bular will take 'a break'?" Blinky questioned folding all of his arms.

"hes got a point there, Tobes." Jim laughed, and continued to make slow strikes at Toby. well, they were slow to Jim, but Toby was doing great against his attacks so Jim picked up speed.

"well he did the other day when you kicked his tail in." Toby joked as he trash talked the Gumm-Gumm prince.

both of Jim's hands gripped Excalibur as he heard footsteps behind him and heard the swing of a metal rod. Jim pivoted away from the attack. ARRRGGH! had apparently told Claire to sneak attack him from behind. Jim landed in a crouch and looked at his two aggressors.

"two on one is hardly fair." Jim said with a smirk. he spun Excalibur in his hand as he moved to a deep stance. Claire and Toby looked at each other and gave Jim a similar smile back. they think they have the upper hand?  Jim thought with a huff of a laugh. they trained and wrestled for hours, Jim only having to resort to his troll form once ARRRGGH! decided to join in.

it was the weekend so they didn't have anything better to do but play around. while taking a break, Jim's phone started to ring. Jim reached behind his back and pulled out his phone from seemingly nowhere as his armor didn't have pockets.

"Question," Toby said while pulling his own phone from nowhere. "how? we don't have pockets when in armor, so where do we pull this stuff out of?" he inquired. Jim just shrugged his shoulders and answered the call.

"sup Douxie?" Jim greeted, not really fazing anyone, as Toby and Blinky continued to talk about the magic pocket they had.

"Jim, we might have a problem." Douxie sounded frantic and out of breath. this was enough to alarm Jim, his eyes grown wide, his calm expression changed to one of concern.

"what kind of problem? are you ok?" Jim asked, now on high alert. his tone and words got everyone's attention.

"I'm fine, for now." Douxie replied. Jim turned him on speaker so everyone could hear him and the wizard seemed to notice. "uh, Jim. did you ever have to face a stalkling?" Jim's heart sank, his breath caught in his throat. fear and anger rising within an instant.
