"dude, what the hell are you made of?" Toby asked Jim. they had all settled down and were now talking about things. Unfortunately, ARRRGGH! was still clueless but he had always been a good listener.

"you've done the impossible time and time again, my friend." Douxie commented, trying to explain where Tobys question came from. Jim laughed from his seat on the couch.

"to hell if i know anymore." he laughed as he fell back, gaining chuckles from everyone else. Jim's eyes wandered to the group's gentle giant and his mood fell. He felt guilty that he didn't have enough energy to help ARRRGGH! or Archie with their memories. ARRRGGH! Turned his head and saw the look on the half troll's face, recognizing what it was as Jim turned away from his gaze.

"Don't feel bad." the former Gumm-Gumm tried to reassure Jim, catching everyone's attention. Jim sighed and they all could tell what was going on.

"Jim, that spell is seriously hard to perform." Douxie's voice sounded from Jim's right. "Don't feel guilty that you could only get one go out of yourself." the wizard said, putting a hand on Jim's shoulder.

"Especially that spell in reverse." Archie commented, gaining some strange and confused looks from everyone else. "That spell was originally made to erase memories, not give them back. And a spell casted in reverse is always ten times harder to do that the normal way." the feline explained.

"Not to mention adding time magic into the mix." Douxie added. "As you know, time magic is the most powerful and hard to control of all the different types of elements." he told them.

"Seriously, what are you made of?!" Toby asked again after hearing how much more impressive the act was.

"I still don't know, Tobes." Jim chuckled, shaking his head. They went on to talk about random things, when a bang came from the entrance.

"What in Deya's name is this?!?!" Vendal shouted as he hit his staff into the floor in anger. Jim had never been introduced to the elder as a troll, nor was Douxie in his disguise, and switching now would only lead the pale troll to believe changelings got into trollmarket. Claire had never seen the elder in this timeline either.

"Ah, Vendal. Good to see you, my old friend." Blinky stepped in, although his voice was slightly panicked. "This is just a friendly gathering. Nothing to worry about." he said, trying to dismiss the fact that there were two more humans in his dwelling.

"more humans? I allowed the trollhunter and his skinny friend but this is an infestation!" Vendal said, ignoring the four armed trolls' comment as he smashed his staff into the ground again. "I've been told rumors of new whelps that were roaming trollmarket and heard they've been seen with you the most. I came to introduce myself and I found THIS!" the pale troll yelled again.

"Vendal, elder of trollmarket." Douxie said, walking forward with his palms facing the troll. "I apologize for mine and my friend's sudden appearance." he said, gesturing to Claire. "We are sorcerers that were summoned by the trollhunter to help with the fight against evil forces." Douxie knew how to defend himself in the presence of a leader. He had plenty of practice with King Arthur.

"Yeah Vendal. I asked them to be here. They're friends." Toby said, jumping up from his seat and trying to convince the troll the story was true. Claire got up from her spot on the couch next to Jim and walked over as well. She gave Douxie a look and he understood where she was going with this.

"Vendal of trollmarket, it is an honor to be here and a pleasure to meet you." Claire said in trollish, surprising the older troll.

"I know I should have introduced ourselves sooner and I apologize for that." Douxie followed in Claire's lead. The elder calmed and smiled.
