"Ugh, Ai ai ai, what just happened?" Krel held his head as he stumbled against a powerful force that had just swept over the kingdom. Images flashed through his mind and soon everything was so clear. "The time stone worked, Jim did it." he exclaimed excitedly, standing up and looking around. "Mama, Papa!" he breathed in realization, running through the halls as he rushed to the throne room. Turning a corner, he ran straight into his sister as the force of the impact made them fall to the floor.
"Krel! It worked, it worked, it worked!" Aja exclaimed, hugging her brother before he could even try to stand up or get off of her. He struggled but was finally able to remove himself from her grasp as he stood up.
"Aja, at least let me get up first." Krel laughed a little as his sister stood and hugged him again, this time he didn't fight it and hugged back. "Why were you running this way anyway?" he questioned, the tech master would have thought his sister would go straight to their parents like him but she was running in the opposite direction.
"I was trying to find you." she said, pulling away from the hug to look her brother in the eyes. Of course the future queen of Acaridian-5 would look for her brother before anything else.
"Well you found me, so let's go find Mama and Papa." Krel said, grabbing Aja's right arms with his own two left and pulling her to the throne room. Busting through the doors, the siblings found the king and queen standing in the room, seeming to not be doing much. Their loud entrance caught their parents attention and they ran up to them, engulfing the four of them in a big group hug.
"My, what is wrong, my children?" Coranda asked, in her confusion but still hugging the two kids. Fialkov did the same, just as confused and concerned for his children. The teens pulled out of the hug and looked at each other for a moment, trying to figure out what to say as they didn't want to tell them about the future. It wouldn't turn out the same way, so why say anything about it.
"We had a nightmare." Aja confused, pulling herself closer to her mother again. Krel just nodded in agreement as the king pulled his son back into their own hug.
"You both had the same nightmare?" Coranda asked, watching her son melt into her husband's embrace.
"It's a sibling thing." the princess said, pulling away from the hug once more. A knock at the doorway caught the family's attention. Vex stood in the doorway in a formal stance.
"Varvatos apologizes for interrupting." Vex said with a small head bow to the royal family. "He saw the children running and assumed something was wrong." he explained.
"Varvatos!" The siblings cried in joy as they ran over to hug him as well. The impact forced the warrior back a step or two as he stumbled to gain his footing again. Vex couldn't help but hug them back.
"It's quite alright Vex and everything is fine." Coranda told him as she and Fialkov watched the teens embrace the commander. "We have a meeting to go to now, but we would love to accompany you later." she said, more to her children as they pulled away from Vex to look at her.
"Varvatos shall watch over them." Vex promised, standing back into his formal posture. The siblings smiled at Vex and looked back to their parents.
"That would be great Mama." Aja said as her and Krel smiled at each other then at the king and queen.
"We shall see you then. Enjoy yourselves." the king said, tuning to walk to the meeting they spoke of. The queen took her follow after giving both of them a kiss on the foreheads. The trio left the throne room soon after.
"So, the future king and queen in waiting remember as well?" Vex asked, already knowing the answer.
"Oh, thank Seklos you know. I was worried we just hugged you randomly." Krel sighed, gaining a laugh from the other two.
