Third Person POV:
Anchal carefully parked her car in the parking lot of the venue where the engagement was to be held, she couldn't help but notice the three other vehicles already stationed there. One belonged to her father, a familiar sight, while the other two were unfamiliar to her. Anchal's car had arrived a bit later than planned, thanks to Aadhya's pre-engagement jitters, which had prompted them to take a longer route to the venue. As the engine hummed to a halt, the car doors opened in unison. From the back seat, Jay and Tanish emerged, followed by Aadhya, who had been particularly anxious about the upcoming engagement. Anchal, having been at the wheel, was the last to step out.
Vihaan's family stood nearby, engaged in lively conversation with Anchal's family. But as Anchal gracefully exited the car, Vihaan found himself momentarily captivated by her beauty. He couldn't help but steal a long, admiring glance in her direction, his gaze fixed on her until their eyes met. The sudden connection prompted him to quickly avert his gaze toward the others, concealing the mesmerizing effect Anchal had on him.
Both the Kapoor and Agarwal families walk into the stunningly decorated venue. The space was adorned with exquisite decorations, setting the stage for a memorable event. As the guests began to trickle in, both families enthusiastically welcomed their friends and loved ones, engaging in warm conversations and exchanging greetings. The venue buzzed with excitement as the gathering grew, and both families were fully immersed in the joyous task of welcoming their guests and creating an inviting atmosphere for the celebration.
Vihaan's POV:
As I stood there at the engagement party, my gaze was irresistibly drawn to the beautiful angel. She was a vision of elegance and beauty, and I felt as if an invisible force was pulling me toward her. Her graceful presence seemed to light up the entire room, and I couldn't help but be mesmerized by her. It was strange; I had never seen her before today, and I couldn't fathom how such an angelic presence had eluded me until now.
I contemplated approaching Yash bhai, my closest confidant, to inquire about her, but he was entirely engrossed in gazing at his soon-to-be bride. Not wanting to disturb his moment of joy, I turned to Riya, who was standing nearby, and gently asked, "Riya, who is that girl with Bhabhi?" Riya glanced in Angel's direction and replied, "Oh, that's Aadhya Bhabhi's sister, Anchal Di."
My curiosity piqued, and I questioned further, "Anchal? Why have I never seen her before today?" Riya paused for a moment before explaining, "Well, the first time our family went to meet Bhabhi's family, you were down with a bad case of the flu and couldn't make it. And the next time we all had dinner together, Anchal Di was out of town for work, so you guys never had the chance to meet."
I nodded, taking in the information. It was strange how life's twists and turns had kept Anchal and me apart until this moment. But now that I had finally laid eyes on her, I couldn't help but feel that our paths were destined to cross.
As I was talking to a business associate Yash Bhai called me. "Bhai apne bulaya," I asked ("Brother you called?"). That is when I saw Angel... I mean Anchal and Bhabhi standing with Bhai.
"Ha Vihaan, this is Aadhya's sister Anchal. And Anchal this is my brother Vihaan" Bhai introduces us.
As soon as I take her hand in mine it fits together perfectly.
"Hi Vihaan, Nice to finally meet you," My angel says. Even her voice is so melodious and sweet. And oof my name from her mouth sounds so heavenly.
"Hi Anchal, so nice to finally meet you too," I say trying not to look like a fool.
"Vihaan beta idhar aa"("Vihaan son, come here"), Mumma called out to me thankfully before I did something stupid like ask her to marry me... Woah Vihaan where did the marriage thought come from? "Duty calls, see you later," I said to the three of them.
As I was thinking about my Angel, I was abruptly startled by my mischievous best friends, Rahul and Shreya. They exchanged knowing glances and prodded,
"Vihaan, kya soch raha tha?"("Vihaan what were you thinking?")
My cheeks turned a shade of crimson as I stammered, "Kuch nahi." ("Nothing")
Rahul couldn't resist teasing, "Kya, kya, Kuch toh soch raha tha. Kisi ladki ke baare mein?" ("What do you mean by nothing? Were you thinking about a girl? ")
Their laughter filled the air as my eyes instinctively gravitated towards Anchal, who was engrossed in conversation with some guests. Rahul and Shreya followed my gaze, and Shreya playfully nudged me, saying, "Vihaan, it's been ages since we saw you look at a girl like that."
Before they could ask me any questions, Yash Bhai interrupted us by saying "Hello vanar sena"("Hello monkey army").
"Hey bhai, you look so handsome today. Bilkul Prince Charming lag rahe ho" Sherya replied. ("You look like Prince Charming").
Yash Bhai blushed and replied, "Thank you bacha".
"Bhai abhi toh bhabhi se mila do kitna intazar karwaoge" Rahul said teasingly. ("Brother how much longer will you make us wait, Introduce us to sister-in-law").
Yash bhai laughed and shook his head and called Aadhya bhabhi.
"Waise aaj meri mirchi bohot khoobsurat lag rahi hai," I said complimenting Shreya.("By the way my mirchi(Chillie) looks beautiful today")
She replied with, "But tu bilkul ghatiya lag raha hai"("But you look like trash").
By then Bhabhi had arrived so I complained to her "Bhabhi dekho na yeh kahe rahi hai ki mai ghatiya dikh raha hu" ("Sister-in-law look she is saying I look like trash").
"Hayee mere devar tu bilkul raja lag raha hai" she tried to console me. ("Dear brother-in-law you look like a king").
"Okay now let's do introductions. Aadhya meet Vanar Sena. Rahul and Shreya. Vanar Sena meet my lovely fiance Aadhya" Yash bhai says.
"Hi Bhabhi you look so pretty," Rahul says.
"Yes bhabhi you look like a Goddess" Shreya adds.
Bhabhi blushes and says "Thank you."
By then I see four people walking towards us one of which is Anchal.
They approach us and Bhabhi says "Aww mere bachhe you guys came"
"Aadu di of course we came, did you think we would miss your engagement?" A girl around our age says, she has a slight accent as she speaks... I think it's American.
"Kriti mujhe pata tha ki tu ayegi, but iss duffer ka pakka nai tha, Last moment haat deke chalagaya toh?" Bhabhi replied to the girl Kriti. ("Kriti, I knew you would come but I wasn't so sure about this duffer, what if he cancels last minute?")
"Di yaar woh sirf ek baar hi kiya tha woh bhi it was fashion week." the guy says. ("Di, that happned only once and that too it was fashion week.")
"But Dhruv woh mera birthday tha yaar" Bhabi said. ("But Dhruv it was my birthday man").
"Di kitni baar sorry bolu apko?"the guy Dhruv said. ("Di how many times should I apologize?")
"Okay fine. Now let me do the introductions here. These are My babies, Anchal my sister, Jay my brother, and their best friends Kriti, and Dhruv. And guys this is Vihaan Yash's brother and his best friends Rahul and Shreya. Did I get that right?" Bhabhi asked.
Everyone replied with a "Yes".
Soon it was time for Bhai and Bhabhi to exchange the rings.
