Vihaan's Pov:

I stood outside the restaurant, waiting for Anchal to pick me up. The evening air was cool, and I couldn't help but glance at every car that passed by. Then, a sleek McLaren GT pulled up in front of me. My inner car enthusiast immediately recognized it. As the window rolled down, I was shocked to see Anchal behind the wheel.

(Anchal's car)

"Wow, Anchal! I didn't know you had such a beast!" I exclaimed, sliding into the front seat.

She smiled at my reaction. "Hi, Vihaan. Surprised?"

"Definitely!" I replied, still in awe. "Hi, by the way."

Anchal started driving smoothly through the city streets. "How was your day?" I asked, turning to look at her.

"It's been very chaotic," she admitted, a hint of exhaustion in her voice. "In fact, my whole week has been like this."

"I can imagine," I said, nodding. "Your work is no joke."

"Yeah," she sighed, glancing briefly at me before focusing back on the road. "What about you? How's your week been?"

I thought for a moment, wanting to tell her that seeing her twice this week had been the highlight. But instead, I chose to keep it simple. "Same here, it's been hectic."

"Seems like we're both in the same boat," she said with a small smile.

"True," I agreed. "But at least we get to end the day on a sweet note."

Anchal chuckled. "Yes, dessert always makes things better."

As we continued driving, I couldn't help but steal glances at her. There was something incredibly calming about being in her presence, even amidst the chaos we both were navigating.

Suddenly, there was a ringing in the car. Anchal's phone was ringing, and she answered it on speaker.

"Khana khaya?" a familiar voice asked.

"Hi Dhruv, how are you? I'm doing good, thanks for asking. Monkey, hi bolne mein kya problem hai tera?" Anchal replied.

"Haan woh sab thik hai, but did you eat?" he pressed.

"Haan, monkey, khana kha liya maine," Anchal replied, sounding a bit defensive.

"I'm not asking about lunch, dinner kiya tune?" Dhruv insisted.

"Haan bhai, kiya maine," Anchal answered, her tone less convincing.

"Abe oh kitna jhoot bolegi. I know you've not eaten yet. I spoke with Tarini and Jay, and they both confirmed you didn't eat," Dhruv said, his voice filled with concern.

"Monkey, I'm not hungry. I had a heavy lunch, and you know my stomach. Mujhe zyada bhook nai lagta," Anchal tried to reassure him.

"Okay, if you say so. Chalo, I'll catch up with you later. And I didn't get a chance to thank you for today," Dhruv said, his tone softening.

"Thanks kyu? Bas chocolate dila de," Anchal replied with a smile.

As the call ended, I glanced at Anchal.

"Sorry about that," Anchal said.

"No need to apologize. It's nice to see how much he cares," I said sincerely. "But you really should eat something, Anchal."

She sighed, "I will. Let's just enjoy our dessert first."

I nodded, appreciating her spirit. "Alright, dessert it is then."

As Anchal and I cruised down the road, the gentle hum of music filled the car. Suddenly, Anchal pulled up in front of a very old-looking shop. She turned to me with her eyes sparkling, a grin spreading across her face. "Welcome to my favorite place on earth, Vihaan. This is 'Amrapali.' They make their own ice cream. It's one of the best places ever."

Her excitement was contagious. My heart did a little flip seeing her so animated. We stepped inside, and the nostalgic aroma of freshly made ice cream greeted us. Anchal walked up to the counter and turned to me, "Toh, Vihaan, what do you want?"

I shrugged, deciding to make it fun. "Tum guess karo."

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Pakka tum woh boring type ke log ho jo vanilla ice cream khate hain."

I laughed. "Nahi yaar, I'll have the mint chocolate chip."

Her reaction was immediate. "OMG, mint chocolate chip is even worse. You know it literally tastes like toothpaste, right? Tumhare childhood mein kuch issues the kya?"

I couldn't help but chuckle. "You really like to judge me based on my flavor choices, huh?"

Anchal burst into laughter. "It's not just you, it's me!" She laughed again and then turned to the server. "Mujhe ek Belgian Chocolate with brownie toppings dena."

I looked at her and smirked. "You really like chocolate, don't you?"

She sighed happily. "I live for chocolate, Vihaan."

We took our ice creams and found a cozy corner to sit.

"So abhi kya?" I asked, looking at Anchal as she dug into her bag.

"Abhi planning, my favorite part!" she replied with a gleam in her eye, pulling out a notebook. She flipped it open and grabbed a pen. "Okay, first guest list. Let me make two columns: Bride and Groom. So the bride side, it's Adhya Di, me, Jay, Tanish, Dhruv, and Kriti. Abhi apka bolo."

I thought for a moment and then listed, "Humara Yash bhai, me, Riya, Rahul, and Shreya."

She nodded, jotting down the names. "Okay, so totally 11 people. Next on the list, dates. That should be decided by Di and Jij. Let me just text them."

Anchal quickly pulled out her phone and tapped away, sending the text. Once she was done, she looked up with a satisfied smile. "Next is the stay. For that, we could either rent a nice villa where all of us can stay or we can stay in mine and Jay's apartments."

"It would be nice if the whole group could stay at the same place," I suggested.

"Yes," she agreed, her excitement growing. "Ohh wait, I have a nice idea. I have a couple of friends who stay in Monaco. I could ask them. Let me call them, wait."

She then proceeded to take out her phone again and Face Timed someone. I watched as she chatted animatedly, her eyes lighting up with each word. This was Anchal at her best—full of life, always ready with a plan and a smile. As she talked, I couldn't help but feel a swell of affection for her, appreciating every moment of this spontaneous adventure we were on together.
