Author's POV:

Anchal pulled up to Vihaan's house, the headlights cutting through the night. She turned off the engine and smiled at him. "Goodnight, Vihaan," she said softly.

"Goodnight, Anchal," he replied, returning the smile before stepping out of the car. He watched as she drove away, her taillights fading into the darkness.

Vihaan turned towards his house, noticing all the lights were off. He quietly entered and made his way to the stairs. As he reached the bottom step, he saw a faint glow coming from the dining area. Curious, he walked towards it and found his mother sitting at the table, engrossed in a book. She hadn't noticed his arrival.

Vihaan smiled to himself and quietly moved to sit beside her. After a couple of minutes, she looked up and saw him. A look of surprise and delight crossed her face. "Tu kab aya?" she asked, laughing.

"Bas 2 min pehele," Vihaan replied with a grin. "Why aren't you asleep yet?"

"Aree, I wanted to finish this book today, and you know your father can't sleep with the lights on," she said, shaking her head. "He says he can, but he just wants me to be there, and he'll disturb me by talking when I'm reading."

Vihaan laughed at this, imagining the scene. As he listened to his mother's familiar voice, his thoughts drifted to Anchal. He wondered if this would be their life someday, sharing quiet moments late at night. He got lost in the thought, picturing a future filled with love and companionship.

"Vihaan bacha, kaha kho gaya?" His mother's voice snapped him back to the present.

"Kuch nai ma, I was thinking of something," he replied, contemplating whether to share his feelings about Anchal with her. He looked at his mother, who was watching him with a knowing expression.

"Kuch bolna hai mujhe?" she asked gently.

Vihaan took a deep breath and decided to tell her. "Ha ma, actually apko kuch bolna tha. So, I met this girl a couple of weeks ago. We've been talking, and I haven't told her how I feel. It's very complicated for now. Mujhe bas apko bolna tha ki I met someone, and I think she is the one for me."

His mother gave him a genuine smile, her eyes shining with happiness. "I'm so happy for you, mere bachhe. I hope everything works out for you. Agar tum ladakee ko nahin pata sakate to mujhe batao, main tumhaare lie yah kar doongi," she said with a wink.

Vihaan laughed, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. "Okay, mumma," he said.

They sat in companionable silence for a moment before they both stood up. "Goodnight, ma," Vihaan said, giving her a hug.

"Goodnight, beta," she replied, hugging him back. They parted ways and headed to their respective rooms, each lost in their thoughts but filled with a sense of contentment.Hey guys! I'm back with another update. Hope you are enjoying the story so far.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vihaan woke up the next morning to the sound of someone banging on his door. Groggy and disoriented, he sat up and realized it was his dear sister, Riya. With a pout, he rubbed his eyes, looking like a sleepy child. He stumbled to the door and opened it. "Kya hua? Door todne ka irada hai?" he asked, his voice thick with sleep.

Riya smiled sheepishly. "Nai, bas badi ma apko breakfast ke liye bula rahi thi."

"Ha, I'll be there in 10 minutes," Vihaan replied, yawning.

She laughed and teased, "Ha, waise bhi, you need to brush. Your breath stinks." Before he could respond, she ran away, giggling.

Shaking his head, Vihaan headed to the bathroom to freshen up. After brushing his teeth and washing his face, he felt more awake. He made his way downstairs, greeted everyone at the table, and sat down to eat. His Chachi, emerged from the kitchen with a steaming cup of coffee for him.

Yash looked at him and said, "Tu aj gym nahi gaya?"

Vihaan shook his head. "Nahi bhai, aj weekend hai. I slept in."

Just then, his mother walked into the room and smiled. "Good, mere bachhe ko neend ki bohot zarurat hai. Dekho kitna weak lag raha hai."

Riya burst into laughter. "Badi ma, bhai ko neend ki nahi, vacation ki zarurat hai. Bas kaam, kaam karte rehte hai."

His mother nodded in agreement. Vihaan saw this as the perfect moment to bring up Yash's bachelor party. "Actually, I'm thinking of taking a vacation in two weeks," he announced.

Everyone, except Yash, who already knew, froze. Riya, in mid-sip of her tea, spat it out in shock. All eyes turned to Vihaan.

"What? Aise kyu dekh rahe ho? I said I'm going on vacation, I didn't confess to a murder."

His father was the first to recover. "Woh itna shocking nai hota, mere bete."

Vihaan shook his head with a smile. "I'm in charge of planning Bhai's bachelor trip. The boys are going to Spain, while Bhabhi's side is going to Italy. After four days, all of Bhai and Bhabhi's friends will fly back, and we were planning it to be a family and friends trip." He paused, then turned to Riya. "So, Riya, how would you feel about going to Monaco for the trip?"

Riya squealed with excitement. "I WOULD LOVE TO!!! Waise bhi mera vacation start ho jayega by then." Her excitement faltered as she turned to their parents. "Oh shit! Mumma, Papa, can I please go? Please, please? Pretty please?" She made her best puppy dog face.

No one in the house could resist Riya's puppy face. Her parents smiled and said yes.

Everyone resumed eating breakfast, chatting excitedly about the upcoming trip. Once breakfast was over, Vihaan's mother reminded everyone to get ready for wedding clothes shopping. They all agreed and went to their respective rooms to prepare for the day ahead.

Vihaan couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness as he headed to his room. The day promised fun and excitement, and he looked forward to spending time with his family and planning the perfect bachelor trip for Yash.
