"So Harry, we understand that you almost made the boys late for this interview?" The interviewer says, raising a questioning brow. "What could you have been doing this morning that made you run late?"
"Umm..." Harry trails off, fighting hard to keep his expression neutral, despite the urge to smirk.
"He spent the night with Y/n," Niall butts in. "So naturally, that made it hard for him to wanna get up this morning,"
"I was up on time," Harry tries to plead his case. "I actually woke very early."
"You woke up, but you were still in the bed," Zayn quips cheekily. His remark is met with whistles and cheers from the audience.
This time, Harry can't hide his smile or his blushing cheeks. He covers his face bashfully as the boys laugh beside him.
