Harry and Y/n had been seeing each other for the past three weeks. Y/n was really starting to like him despite not exactly having the courage to ask him to be her boyfriend yet.
Now on their fourth date, Harry had taken Y/n to this cool axe-throwing arena, and she should've known he had something up his sleeve from the moment they arrived.
"If I land in the center," Harry says, eyes level with the target as he wields two sturdy axes in his hands. "You have to be my girlfriend," he gives Y/n a cheeky smirk as he says this.
Y/n smiles back coolly despite the stampede of butterflies that've just entered her stomach from Harry's proposition. She shrugs, trying her best to remain casual despite her excitement. "Okay, sure," she replies.
Y/n doesn't miss the determined flicker in Harry's eyes as he turns his focus back to the targets. He takes a deep breath, then throws both axes with all his might. One of which lands dead center in the middle of its target.
Harry immediately rejoices, not thinking before sweeping Y/n up in a hug and lifting her off her feet. She laughs as she hugs him back, her heart taking flight in her chest. "A deal's a deal! You've gotta be my girlfriend now," Harry says before planting a kiss on Y/n's cheek and setting her back on her feet.
"Fair is fair," Y/n smiles, taking Harry's hand in hers. Deep down, she knew she would've agreed to be Harry's girlfriend had he made that target or not.
