It's the start of the show, and Harry is nervous.
He'd invited Y/n to come watch him and the boys perform that night. Y/n, who made his heart take flight in his chest. Y/n, who had the prettiest smile he'd ever seen. Y/n, who he was absolutely mad about and had been for weeks. He just hadn't had the courage to ask her out yet.
His nerves were shot, and he really didn't want to make a fool of himself onstage, knowing that Y/n was in the crowd and would see it all. He was so scared of looking stupid in front of her.
He's so busy thinking about his own nerves, that he forgets the words that start his verse.
Panic sets in when he opens his mouth and no words come out. He feels like a deer trapped in headlights. But then his eyes find Y/n in the crowd, and she's smiling and mouthing the words to him. Her smile makes Harry smile, and now the forgotten lyrics are coming back to him, courtesy of Y/n. He mouths a quick 'thank you' to her before launching into his verse.
As if he didn't already want to make her his before, he certainly did now.
