I was trying my hardest to pay attention to my professor and his unnecessary lecture .

Class was scheduled to end eleven fucking minutes ago.

Now I'm not one to complain about a class. I chose this major and I love that I did, but I don't love a man who is wasting my time.

I glance at the wall clock.

"This shit is ridiculous."

I mumble under my breath and I hear choked laughter.

I look to my side and see a pair of eyes looking back at me.

I take in the whole picture and I notice he's a guy, his eyes seem childlike and innocent and I instantly think of Quentin.

They both have the eyes of a fool.

There's something about this boy that seems even more familiar, as if we were childhood friends or enemies.

I stare deeper into his face trying to ease my puzzled expression. When I finally realize he's the guy from the alley my eyes widen.

I quickly change my expression and hope that he hadn't noticed.

He's smiling at me and I lift my eyebrows expectantly. "Can I help you ?"

My question is seething in annoyance and the guy only laughs louder.

This catches the attention of a few more students and I realize that they too are ready to leave .

"Seriously, if you don't turn around then I'm going to shove your head, up that mans ass in an attempt to make up for the fifteen minutes of my life he's wasting."

My voice rises and the laughs grow louder. I slide my unnecessarily large book, back into my bag and sling it over my shoulder .

He doesn't stop smiling and I'm beginning to think he's begging for a beating .

"Where do you think you're going , Ms. Lyon." I physically cringe when the professor says my name with a smirk.

"I'd be lion if I told you." I wink and make a few small strides towards the door.

By this point the laughter had erupted into a fit and he has no control over his class.

"Excuse me miss Lyon, class hasn't ended yet." His voice his harsh and not at all professional.

This small comeback has made me genuinely angry, I snap my attention to his face and with a glare I say

" Look, I've been in the class for how long now and I've managed to maintain an A average . Your class ended seventeen minutes ago, and I have a daughter who is more important than a man wasting my time ."

My voice was crisp and short. I let him take in my demeanor and say

"My attitude does not determine my grade understood." My voice like steal as I watch him nod.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have a child who's wondering where her mother is."

I march through the double doors and strut out of the hall.

I have no idea what's come over me but I think I like it.

My victory is short lived as a pair of arms snatch me by my shoulders.

I instantly freeze, flip the asshole onto their back, and press my foot into their windpipe.

The loud thud echoes around us and I look down to see its the guy from earlier.
