The planner

Liz stayed with me for a week. She helped me move into Shohei's place, and then she had to leave on a business trip. I was so glad that's I was able to see her. I was also happy that all the packing and moving was over. "I'm so glad that you're back. I missed you a lot!" I kissed him. "I missed you as well." I said, caressing the side of his face. "But I'm also glad you were able to see her again." "What'd you do while I was gone?" I asked. "I was looking for wedding planners. I think I found one, we just have to meet her first. Are we doing a big or small wedding?" We looked at each other, "small" we both said in unison.

"Well, we are shy people, so it only makes sense." He nodded. "For sure. Just so you know, I have a date planned for us. I hope you like it because I put a lot of effort-" "the real question is when have I never liked a date?" He broke out in laughter. "Exactly." I said, laughing with him.

"So are we having dinner with this wedding planner tonight?""well, I was thinking lunch with her and dinner with the most beautiful woman in the world." I had to think about it. "It's you, my love, you're the most beautiful woman in the world." I blushed, feeling like a complete dumbass. "Okay, well, this is random, but it's really hot outside. Can we go for a swim after dinner?" He nodded. "For sure." We got around for lunch with the wedding planner, and I was nervous. I've never planned a wedding before, so what if I sound stupid when I'm trying to explain what I want? "What are you stressing about, my sweet girl?" I looked up in shock because how did he know? Is it that obvious? "It's nothing, just something stupid, is all." He grabbed my hand and kissed it. "Nothing you're overthinking is stupid." He said, rubbing the back of my hand with his thumb.

"It's just that, what if I sound stupid trying to figure out what we want for the wedding." He smiled. "Hannah, you're worrying yourself over something natural, my love. It's okay if you don't have it figured out, that's fine. That's what the planner is there for." "That is true." I said agreeing. "Besides, I'm right here with you. You aren't alone." His face lowered towards mine and our lips met. "I love you." I said. "I honestly love you more than you'll ever know." He kissed my forehead and went to get ready. I put on a floral sundress with sandals and curled my hair. I walked out into the dining room and his eyes got huge. "Damn." I laughed and grabbed my purse. We went to the restaurant to meet the wedding planner.

We got there, and she was already waiting for us. Likewise, we sat down at the table and she smiled. "Hi guys! My name is Sophia." "I'm Shohei and this is my fiancé, Hannah." She shook my hand and I flashed her a smile. "So I will be your wedding planner, of course. Anything you want me to do, I will make happen because this is your big day. Any idea is never a stupid idea. Please — don't be nervous. My job is to keep yours stress-free." I took a breath of relief. Shohei rested his hand on my thigh. We ordered our food and continued. "What would you guys like to do first? We can do bridal dress shopping, cake testing and decoration, the wedding theme, tux shopping?

"We would like to do dress shopping." Shohei said. "I want her to relax and feel like a Princess for once." "Okay, so we can do dress shopping. Would you like to schedule it for tomorrow?" I nodded. This is really happening. I'm actually marrying not only the person of my dreams but my best friend! "Tomorrow works." She wrote it down. "Now listen, you don't have to find the perfect dress tomorrow. It may take time, and that's okay. I know some of the women I worked with walked down the aisle with a dress they absolutely hated. I don't want that for you. If it doesn't feel like your dress, then that's fine. We will keep looking until we find it." I nodded and smiled. "I think that was my biggest problem was I feel like I have to rush to get everything done now." "No, you take as much time as you need. Furthermore, I would like to have weekly meetings with you guys to make sure we're on the same page. I know sometimes stuff happens and miscommunication occurs. I don't want that to happen."

Our food came out. We talked some more over dinner, which I must say I really like her approach and how she does things. "It was a pleasure meeting you guys. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to call!" She shook our hands once more and we left.

We got back to the house, and I was excited to get into the pool. It was hot outside and I feel like have been sweating like an absolute pig. Shohei and I changed into our bathing suits and grabbed towels. He jumped in, the water engulfed his body as he went under. I just kind of dipped my toes in the water. "Why do you take forever to get into the pool?" He asked with a devilish smirk. "Because Mr. I take ice baths, so I'm accustomed to this shit." He was laughing. "Shohei you better not." "I wasn't going to do anything....yet."  I sucked it up and jumped in because there was no way he was going to catch me off guard.

"That wasn't so bad now, was it?" I nudged him playfully. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him. "Can we make dinner tonight?" He nodded. "Of course. I'm sure we'll figure something out." He then wrapped my legs around his waist and as I was about to blush, he threw me into the water. I came back up, wiping the water out of my eyes. "You're so mean." He laughed. "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist." I ignored him. "Baby, don't be like that." He knew his words would melt me. "I guess I can forgive you." He pulled me closer to him. "Besides, I like seeing your hair wet. It does something to me." I laughed and kissed him. "Oh, will you stop?"

We did a contest of who could hold their breath the longest underwater. We also played Marco Polo, which was hilarious, and doing all of this with him brought back the memories of when we used to do this as kids. After playing our games, we got out and went to get showered, so we could start cooking dinner. I hate the smell of pool water, but I love pools, make it make sense.

A/N: Hey everyone, thank you for being patient with me. I've been suffering from writer's block, so my creativity is still there, but I don't know how to write it into words or brainstorm ideas.
