Chapter 8

Outside of the club, a black stretch limo was sitting in front of the building, the smartly dressed chauffeur standing by the open door waiting patiently for them.

The Beta led Talia over to the limo and helped her in before climbing in himself. Jenna climbed in behind him and looked around the luxurious car. She'd never been inside a limo before. It was spacious with a seat in the back and another along either side. Talia and her date had moved near the front of the car and were seated on the side closest to her.

Daniel crawled in behind her. "Come on," he said softly before seating himself close to Talia.

Jenna followed him and sat down next to him. He wrapped an arm around her, pulling her against his side, and she relaxed into his warmth. She glanced at Talia, who was eyeing her with interest.

The other two couples crawled in as well, and the door closed. One of them promptly began to make out, and the man pulled the woman onto his lap, his hands traveling under her skirt and grabbing her ass.

Jenna looked away, wondering if she was the only human in the car. Talia had told her that werewolves were very sexual creatures, and no one seemed bothered by the little show happening in the back of the car, including the participants. They just continued kissing as though they were the only ones in the car.

Daniel chatted with the Beta, and Jenna tuned them out, letting her thoughts wander. She hadn't had a boyfriend since she'd been in New York City. She'd been on a few dates, but none of them had been promising. She'd even made out with a few but stopped before it progressed any further. She hadn't cared enough about any of them to let it go any further.

On her senior prom night, her date had tried to have sex with her, but she'd shut him down. He'd been furious and broken up with her that night. She'd been upset at the time, but after she'd had time to get over it, she was glad she'd refused. He wasn't worth it.

None of those men, or boys, she thought ruefully, had made her feel the way Daniel did. He'd been the perfect gentleman all night, which attracted her to him even more. She wasn't sure what the rest of the night would bring, but if Daniel wanted her V-card, she'd happily give it to him.

Her phone binged, rousing her from her thoughts, and she glanced at it, then at Talia, who was holding her own phone and smirking at Jenna. If you sleep with him, he'll ruin you for all other men, the message read. Jenna rolled her eyes at her friend and put her phone away. She knew Talia was teasing her, but at the same time, it was probably much closer to the truth than her friend realized. She'd never felt tingles with anyone else like she did with him or felt such an intense connection. She could only guess that it was a werewolf thing, and yes, Daniel would probably ruin her for human men, if he hadn't already.

Memories of his mouth on the most intimate part of her body flooded her mind again, and she swallowed. She was excited to see what this night was going to bring.

The limo finally came to a stop, which was good because the couple in the back were practically having sex by now, the woman grinding herself on the man, his hands all over her ass, and Jenna really wanted out. She would never be comfortable doing such a thing in front of others.

They all piled out of the limo, and Daniel again took Jenna's hand, leading her into the hotel. She glanced around the lobby, her mouth dropping open. The hotel was one of the nicest in New York City. The lobby was huge and very modern with marble floors and low lighting. Large windows covered most of the walls, and she imagined that during the day, the place was filled with sunlight.

They continued quickly through the lobby and got into the biggest elevator Jenna had ever seen. The doors closed, and Daniel pulled her back against him, wrapping his arms around her. She leaned against his rock-hard chest, enjoying the tingles and warmth from him as his lips pressed against her cheek. He wasn't afraid of showing her affection, and she loved it.
