Hello and welcome! This is a brief intro for my new book, Love at First Spark!
Amelia Lawrence thought she knew love when she fell for her boy-next-door best friend, Alexander (Dex) Larson. The summer after their college graduation, he moves away, leaving her crushed and wondering if she'll be able to move on without him. While he's off in California with his new job as a chef, Amelia has to get her mind off her best friend and into her new role as teacher.
Enter Braden, the essence of tall-dark-and-handsome, whom she meets at a local bar the night before her first day of teaching. They immediately hit it off which is great--until Braden shows up at the school where she's teaching to drop off his daughter, who is in her class. Amelia must find a balance between her work life and her personal life, but as feelings emerge, that proves to be harder than she could ever imagine. And when Dex returns at the least opportune time, Amelia has to make a choice between her past and her future.

I am excited to share this new story with you! Love at First Spark will feature our main character, Amelia Lawrence (age 23), who is starting a brand new job as a teacher in Portland, Oregon. She quickly gets caught between her childhood best friend, Alexander (Dex) Larson, and a new man, Braden Callahan. This story tackles the challenges of life after college, a strangers-to-lovers romance, and themes revolving around family.
Also, just as an aside, one of the characters in this story is named Eloise--if you've read Love Between the Lines, you may recognize the name but they're NOT the same character! Turns out I really liked the name lol (and Eloise in LBTL has been renamed in edits).
Schedule: Updates will be every Saturday through December. Then, depending on how much I have prepped, I may take a short break before posting new chapters but the schedule will remain 1x per week.
