Everything changed after monday. Every night we would cuddle to sleep and wake up in eachothers arms in the morning. During the day we would share touches and eyecontacts but we never said anything about them.
I could just walk over to Vic and hug her, she would always hug me back and hold me as long as I stayed. When we watched a movie or a show I would rest my head on her shoulder and she'd wrab her arm around me. She wasn't ever the one to make the move but she would accept to it when I did.
Yesterday she had practice with her band and she asked me to come with her. We had a lot of fun planing out their gig on Halloween, which was coming up on next thursday.
My parents on the other hand had gotten the divorce sorted out for the most part and when I visited mom this morning she seemed way happier than I had seen her in months.
I hadn't talked with Indy too much in the past few days as I rather focused on the time I had with Vic. Indy had asked me why I would leave her on delivered for hours and I just ignored her or said that my phone was acting up. Every time she belived me and I didn't neccessarily feel bad for lying.
"Dad is coming back tonight", Vic informed me as she got back from a call with him.
"How was his trip", I asked out of curiosity.
"Apparently good, at least he didn't mention anything going wrong" she said putting her phone down, "we should make a list of everything we need to by from the grocery store before he comes home".
"Then let's do that, we could bake something as well".
"That's a great idea". She walked to the pantry to figure out what we'd need to buy while I waited at the table.
As she came back she had a list of things she needed in her hands and she set it in fornt if me. "Can't think if anything else but if you do just say so".
I looked over at everything that she had listed but couldn't think of anything either. "I think those are it", I said turning to look at her.
"Well then, I'm gonna get my wallet and then we'll leave", she said walking past me towards the hallway that led to her room.
As we were driving I remembered that Indy had sent a snap earlier that I hadn't answered yet. I dug my phone out and opened her snap. It was a simple picture of some beach which I replied to with a very zoomed in picture of myself from the cars side view mirror.
Indy opened it right away and send a selfie. She had tanned so much already and she had still a week left. I replied with a quick selfie as we pulled up to the grocery store parkinglot.
In front of the store I could see a punch of people hanging out from our school. There was the boy group who had held Vic against the lockers and then some girls.
Vic didn't really seem to care as she got out from the car and waited for me to do the same before she locked the doors and started walking towards the entrence.
I noticed her pull her sleeve up that hid the tattoos. Smart.
As we walked past the group I could feel their eyes on us the whole time. I heard how they turned to one another to whisper something but I couldn't make out what they were saying.
"Why are they like that?", I asked more from myself than Vic.
"The blonde girl's name is Mia, they want to get her attenttion the best they could by bullying and doing illegal stuff", Vic explained.
"Oh I guess that makes sense".
As we were in the store I noticed that many people would avoid us or just glare at us and keep their distance. I figured that it was becuse of Vic's tattoos, the fact that she was very tall and had a neutral face expression most of the time.
