That was a long day.

I was convinced to keep the position & got to work bringing the laws everyone suggested before the Ecclesia.

Almost all of them were ratified, though I had to push for the ones suggested by the Gemini as they are not granted citizenship until New Greece's construction is completed.

I then had to organize the military & start putting funds towards the production of a navy & acquiring war elephants. Thank goodness the Dares are backing us, because the tax revenue is going to take a while to kick off.

One of my new laws was that anyone chosen to go on a quest had to form a unit of 10 warriors, with the chosen being the Dekarchos, leader of 10.

I worked out the ranks & chain of command for the military. It is based on the old Greek ones:

1. Polemarch - Leader of the entire military; Elected position: Me

2. Strategos/Boeotarch - Leader of a large part of the military, More - 6,000 men; Elected position: yet to be any elected.

     2.1. Navarch - Leader of the Navy

3. Taxiarch - Strategos's second in command

4. Syntagmatarch - Leader of a Brigade

5. Tagmatarchis - leader of a Tagma, part of a battalion 4,000 strong

6. Chiliarch - leader of a chiliarchy, 1,000 men

       6.1. Epihipparch - Leader of 1,000 calvary

7. Lochagos - Leader of a Lochos, a subunit of 640 men

8. Hipparchus - Leader of 500 calvary

9. Trierarch - Leader of a ship

10. Dekarchos - Leader of 10 soldiers

11. Skeuophoros - servant

Mine starts at the top & bottom & works our way to the middle.:

Our population is currently under 300 Half-bloods & legacies, but growing due to all the claimed coming in.

After the Gemini get citizenship, we can add them into the military.

After everything we did yesterday, Chiron insisted all politicians take the week off to recuperate from all the work we did yesterday building a constitution.

Annabeth & her siblings are learning a form of prophecy invented by Athena, Pyromancy, since she needed a day off too.

Drew is training up a new sister that arrived yesterday. She's the ambassador of the Great Spirit's faction, which is Cherokee, Crow, Siouan, Creek, Lakota, Lummi, Miwok, Alaskan & several other tribes. Her grandfather was the ambassador of the Cherokee at the Great Spirit's UN equivalent, before losing to lung cancer.

She is apparently trained in Shamanism, Clubs, axemanship (Tomahawks), knifemanship, horsemanship, polearmsmanship, blowgunmanship & archery.

Drew is tutoring her Boxing, Wresting, Pankration, swordsmanship & the other Greek skills on top of the training Aphrodite, Apollo & Orion are giving her.
