Percy POV
That was the best sleep I had in a few days.
My mind was clear & I was coming up with strategies to grant us victory.
Zoe spoke "This seems too good to be true."
Thalia rebuked "Not really. A titan attacking us falls under the 'screw the rules, they broke them first' situation."
We arrived & saw Hephaestus waiting on us.
After we exited, he spoke "This device will replace Atlas as holder of the sky, so you can send him to Tartarus. The road straight through here leads to a river. Use Percy's boat to reach the Hoover Dam. Don't touch anything or my Talos will kill you!" He says handing me a box, with a button on it.
It had instruction on which side was the top of the pillar & everything.
Grover was about to snack on the tin before he heard that.
He was about to leave before Bianca spoke "WAIT! How much would it cost to buy something?"
Hephaestus was confused & said "Everything here is defected."
Bianca responded, "defected action figures are valued by collectors, like my brother." She says while pointing at a Mythomagic action figure of Hades.
It was a misprint as it had my dad's trident instead of Uncle's pitchfork.
Hephaestus picked it up, then said "It's worth more than you have. I'll let your dad know about it. He'll probably by it for Nico."
We got back on the bus & continued to a cliff above the river.
Grover pointed at some ledges down, before saying "We jump!"
I shot that down immediately, "You know Thalia's scared of heights. We can walk down & drive back just fine."
Thalia looked at me gratefully.
Once we arrived, I summoned a boat big enough to fit us all & we sped to the dam at top speed.
Once we arrived, we stood at the river's edge looking over it.
The people on top were like ants, with how far up we were.
I & Piper said "700 feet tall. Built in the 30s."
Thalia continued "5 million cubic acres of water."
Drew & Grover finished, though Grover sighed "Largest construction project in the United States."
Clarisse spoke "Annabeth would be geeking out right now."
Zoe spoke "All the more reason to rescue her & come back one day. Now how do we get to the road?"
Near Hoover Dam, Arizona, 1:00pm
After we made it to the road, we summoned the bus & drove to the dam.
It was on the way & we owed it to her to take plenty of pictures.
On one side, a big lake spread out, ringed by barren desert mountains.
On the other side, the dam dropped away like the world's most dangerous skateboard ramp, down to the river seven hundred feet below, and water that churned from the dam's vents.
Thalia talked about 2 statues that were sacred to Zeus & superstitious mortals touched their feet for good luck.
I looked to Grover "Any enemies nearby?"
