Ruby Kane had just died.

She became the host of both Bast & Isis to keep Apophis sealed, but it killed her & was temporary.

Bast is free, but Isis is still trapped in the Duat by the Rosetta Stone, along with her 4 siblings.

Ruby told me that Apophis would eventually return & that I would need to return to the Path of Gods if we are to stop them.

The gods are cruel. That's why I banished them back during the era of Cleopatra.

I had to put up with their cruelty since I became the Pharaoh back during my conquests of the world, long before I faked my death to retire to the position of Chief Lector.

If Apophis is rising, there may be no other way, unfortunately.

"Hehehe. HAHAHAHAHA! Why am I so scared?"

"I! AM! ALEXANDER THE GREAT! LEGACY OF ZEUS, POSEIDON & THETIS! THE MORTAL THAT DEFEATED A PROTOGENOI ONE ON ONE! THAT WAS LONG BEFORE I EVEN GOT EGYPTIAN MAGIC! I HAVE BEEN AS STRONG AS A PROTOGENOI FOR SEVERAL MILLENNIA, YET I NOW FEAR GODS MUCH WEAKER THAN THAT?! HAHAHA! I AM THE KING OF CONQUERORS! I DO NOT LET FEAR DEFEAT ME!"

I used my magic to establish a connection to the god I once allowed to possess me, Horus.

Horus: "Hello my former friend. What do you want?"

I told him about the return of Apophis & Ruby's warning.

Horus: "Well. You're in luck, because my dad/brother has been trying to get us to treat mortals better & grow past our old mistakes, on top of other things, after an interesting conversation he had with a Greek legacy at the location the gods of the dead go to divvy up souls."

Me: "That's great, but I think I should wait for taking down the seal entirely & risk hastening Apophis's return."

Horus: "Agreed. The universe needs to maintain the balance of Ma'at & Isfet. That many embodiments of Ma'at would tip the scales & hasten Apophis's return, but remember apocalyptic events tend to function like dominos. One generally triggers several more & rarely from the same mythology."

Me: "So, I should keep an eye out for signs of other mythologies doing something that could accidentally cause Apophis's release."

Horus: "Exactly! Anything from the Gods of your homeland starting another war to Ragnarök, could trigger Apophis's release. Are your sensory abilities as good as I remember?"

Me: "Better! I can see, hear, etc. everything on the planet all at once all the time, except when major divine figures, like the 14 Olympians from my old home, are present or are hiding a location, like Camp Half-blood, but I can see all the demigods come & go from there & hear them talk about where it is."

Horus: "Excellent! What about the House?"

Me: "Over 1 million strong. I also have my own Shabti army that is over 7 billion strong."

Horus: "You were always good at making them."

Me: "I started making 10 per day after faking my death several millennia ago & eventually had an entire group of them devoted to making more. The world's first production line."

Horus: "I know. I was there. Times have changed. Just a few Eons ago, it was just Ptah & Neith in the endless void. Then, Ptah created Atum. Then the unborn Tatenen's developing form's power accidentally created the Ogdoad before being born as Benben & rising from the Primordial waters of the Ogdoad."

Me: "Then Khnum is born from Nun of the Ogdoad & impregnates Neith with Ra & Apophis on top of Benben, while Atum started creation. Then, Ptah & Ra help Atum create reality as we know it. Lastly, Ra becomes the first Pharaoh."

Horus: "You didn't want to continue to where I created & became the first Pharaoh of Lower Egypt after Set conquered what is now Upper Egypt but was just Egypt until I came around."

Me: "We'd be here all day & your head is big enough already. I also have work to do to convince the House of Life to return to the Path of the Gods & help out the Kane family."

Telling the Faust family, the truth, convincing them to let Julius keep custody & convincing Julius to send the kids to Heliopolis & possibly reach some sort of compromise with him. This is going to be a long day. I wish I could fuse with another person to increase all my powers & abilities like my gods can. It would greatly improve my stamina, though since this is going to be more tedious & boring than physically exhausting, it really wouldn't help.

Ra kills Apophis.

Serket & Sobek are born to Khnum & Neith.

Atum created Shu & Tefnut via a female clone, Iusaaset/Nebethetepet.

Ra created Hathor/Sekhmet/Bast, Satet, Anhur & Mut.

Shu & Tefnut have Geb & Nut.

Amun & Mut have Khonshu.

Ra orders Shu to prevent Geb & Nut from mating.

Thoth is born.

Thoth gambles with Khonshu to create 5 days for Geb & Nut to mate.

They have Osiris, Set, Isis, Nephthys & Horus.

Osiris becomes the Pharaoh.

Set kills Osiris & becomes the Pharaoh.

Isis & Nephthys reanimate Osiris, so Osiris can impregnate Isis with Horus.

Horus is reborn to Isis & Osiris.

Horus creates & becomes the Pharaoh of Lower Egypt.

Horus defeats Set & becomes the Pharaoh of the united Egypt.
