Chapter 15 | Rain

The USJ event was really fun. We got some explaining about rescue, and it was honestly pretty fun and interesting. Thirtheen really seemed very passionate about rescuing people. They wouldn't stop talking.

Some of my classmates were picked out to demonstrate a rescue mission, and it was really fun to just laugh because they made an absolute mess. Just a week passed, and it was Friday. It was almost time to have some free days. Friday's always suck and take the longest. It feels neverending.

I was way too early to class because mom just offered to bring me. Of course, I'd say yes, after apologizing to Kanna for not walking with her. But I didn't really think i'd be so damned early, else I wouldn't have agreed to it.

I was practically laying on my desk, my arms covering my head. I felt so stupid, but now I know not to go with mom if she ever asks again. After what felt like hours, I heard footsteps in the hallway. There were multiple, and it seemed like most of them passed my classroom.

I didn't move or anything, just waiting for people to come in and not having to communicate or socialize. It took a few minutes before someone entered the classroom. Great, I'm not alone anymore.

"(L/N)?" I looked up pretty slow, feeling tired. Togata was there, and he moved towards me with a wave and a smile. I didn't move up but stayed in the position, only moving my head so I could see them. "You're early today." I just nodded, staying a bit quiet.

Amajiki was behind him, of course. He followed his friend towards my desk but averted his eyes to the floor. Togata smiled gently, and I moved my eyes somewhere else, too. He noticed I was looking at his friend next to him.

"(L/N)!!!" Someone busted through the classroom door with a big smirk. Obviously, it was Hado. She moved to my desk and sat on her table next to me, "What's up?" I asked her in confusion due to her sudden screaming. She just shrugged and smiled. "Just saying hi." She simply said.

I tried not to think about it too much and shrugged as well. Hado started swishing her legs back and forth, and her smile was just growing a bit. "So, what plans do you guys have this weekend?" She asked us, Togata responded with a quick answer, saying he'd just work out a bit and train more.

Hado sighed super loudly to show she was disappointed, "You're boring Togata." She pouted while poking him numerous times in his arm. He simply laughed it off and rubbed the back of his neck. "How about you (l/n)? Have any plans?" Togata averted the attention to me instead, I shot up a bit, not expecting him to ask me.

I shaked my head, meaning I didn't. He seemed disappointed about my answer, but then turned to his friend to probably ask the same. "Why don't you just go out with Amajiki?" Hado blurted out out of nowhere, I swear I could feel my face heat up in an instant, and everything turned red.

Hado smiled brightly and ignored my face, "I mean, I'm sure he could use a friend since Togata's all busy." She said it so easy, like it was just a plan to make me hang out with someone. I moved back and forth in confusion between Togata and Hado, thinking he was in on this.

I didn't see Amajiki's face properly, but definitely the big red hue covering his face as well, damn friends really have to make you get all embarrassed like that. "I think it's a great idea." Togata suddenly pointed out with a huge grin.

Yes, he was definitely in on this. They are planning something here. Do they just want us to be better friends, or is there more?

I got even more flushed due to them both agreeing while we couldn't even say anything, Hado happily pulled a hand over my shoulder and shaked me a bit. "So, it's a thing, right (l/n)?" I was so damn lost in thoughts and couldn't think clearly, "Uhh, sure.." I said out of nowhere.
