The writing and practical exam was going to happen on Friday, and currently, it was Saturday morning. But I wasn't freaking out because of it being so soon, but because I was supposed to go to Amajiki's house today because he needed help studying.

There was no way for me to even fall asleep the night before, thinking of all the things that could go wrong or could become awkward.

I decided to watch some videos on my phone before going to his house, just to get my mind out of the thoughts.

When I went to turn my phone on it didn't do anything, the screen stayed black and it wouldn't turn on. Did I forget to charge it? No.. I was certain I charged it the night before.

Suddenly, an electrical shock emitted from my phone and shocked my hand. "AH!" I dropped the phone from the sudden attack and looked at my hand for any damage, but it was fine.

Suddenly, I heard a laugh, far away and seemingly quiet, but my ears picked it up. Immediately recognizing the voice, I turned my head towards the source.

"REIJI, I SWEAR!" My little brother was hiding behind one of the walls, and his smug little smirk widened.

Before I could even get close, he bolted off to his room upstairs. "You're such a little shit!" I screamed before he closed his bedroom door.

"(Y/n), language!" My mother spoke up from the kitchen, I pushed my arms to gesture to my brother's room. "But, he?! He messed with my phone!"

My mother just shook her head, "Still, no cursing in the house. Besides, didn't you have somewhere to be?" I shook my head with a grunt. Of course, she takes my little brother's side.

I let out a sigh and grabbed the bag, which I had already put at the door with all of my stuff in it. "Yes, as long as I'm not stuck with that little shit." I mumbled so mom wouldn't hear.

Of course, she did hear, and I quickly ran to the hallway to put on my shoes. As soon as I put them on, I barged out of the house, happy to be gone from those two.

I really loved my family, but sometimes my brother could be so annoying, and it always felt like I had to apologize even if he did all the bad stuff.

It didn't feel fair, and I was certain it wasn't. I quickly grabbed my phone from my pocket and typed in Amajiki's address in the navigation app.

I knew it wasn't too far from my home, but I still had no idea where he lived.

After a bit of a walk, I arrived at his house, at least I hoped it would be the right one and that I wouldn't just be met by random people.. I am really great at overthinking.

Approaching the front door, I didn't see a sign which showed the family name, not all houses had them of course. Taking a second to breathe, I rang the doorbell.

After what seemed like an eternity, the door opened, I was immediately met with a face I recognized, Amajiki.

Well, I should be saying Tamaki, since they all are Amajiki? It always felt so weird..

I slightly waved, "I hope I'm not too early?" Amajiki just shook his head and moved away so I could get into the house.

"No, it's fine." He only said those words, but I could immediately tell there was something different. His tone was a little off. I couldn't quite place it, but.. it wasn't normal.

I walked in after nodding at Amajiki, I immediately took my shoes off and placed them behind the step. Amajiki had closed the door behind us, and i waited for him.

Before I could even take a step further, a little girl was seen suddenly running towards us. As I wasn't expecting it, I took a step back and accidentally bumped into what I assumed was Amajiki's chest.
