There has been nothing interesting since this morning. You really hoped for some hero class instead of all this boring stuff you already knew. You loved this school, but geeze, where is the fun part?

You were basically just laying on your desk. It was almost time for lunch break, but it felt like it took hours. Your arms were folded on the desk with your head resting on them. You did look at the teacher but didn't really pay that much attention.

It was all about math and stupid equations. You weren't super good at math, but you were definitely better than all the other students at your old schools. You understood and answered the questions correctly. But if it came down to it, it was all useless.

You didn't spend time in these classes, not on things you already knew. Instead, you'd like to improve your quirks capability. You had only done about 6 or 7 animals, but they were always the easy and small types.

The bigger the animal, the harder it gets. And especially with carnivores, there was something about them, like they had a mind of their own when shifting. You had obviously done it and tried your best to master the lion for strength. But you were totally against using it unless necessary.

You also never shifted in a big animal when someone else was around. You couldn't even trust yourself to do that. That's why we're here. They should help us control and train our quirks, right?

The bell, which indicated class was done, startled you out of your thoughts. You sighed quietly. Everyone put their stuff in their bags and started chatting with each other when the teacher dismissed us.

You looked around the classroom, everyone having a fun school experience. Even if it's this boring. The first day, was it just deceiving. Maybe the school isn't as exciting as they say?

You shook all your thoughts away, stop being so negative, geeze.

You didn't notice you were depressingly staring at your desk by now. A hand was shaking in front of your face. You shook up and moved to face the person standing next to you.

Almost everyone left already. "Are you coming for lunch?" Hado, standing next to you, asked with a smile. Her smile was gentle and warm. It made you smile back slightly. You shook your head, "I'm gonna sit alone, if that's alright with you?"

I tried to be careful, not wanting to make her upset for not coming to sit with her. I was pretty sure she had other people she could sit with, but still. Hado's smile only got brighter as she put a thumbs up, "Alright, I'll see you in the next class then!" She waved me off, I returned the gesture before she left the classroom.

I went and put my stuff in my bag, and noticed my zoology book. It was given to me by my parents after my quirk revealed itself. It was a huge book which included the studies of animals and any information I'd need for my quirk.

I've used it ever since it was given to me, and it was really my favorite book. You thought it was a good idea to sit outside and have lunch with your nose stuck in a book. Such a nerd, am I not?

It could help you find new animals to shift into or help get control over the bigger ones. So, with that idea in mind, I quickly left the classroom. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and texted Kanna that I was going to have lunch by myself.

You entered the fresh air, and you took it all in. The cafeteria was on the other side of the building so there were really not a lot of people here. Some students were sitting on the benches, and because of the sunny weather, some even sat on the grass.

It was a really nice and warm day, you could enjoy it outside more than the busy cafeteria. You smiled, taking everything in. You walked forward a bit before noticing someone.
