I could hear faint sounds, the sound of a chair being pushed along the floor and curtains..

Forcing my eyes open, they were met with a harsh white light, which made me close them again and give them some time to adjust.

When it felt better, I opened them and tried to focus. "Good morning, we didn't think you'd wake up again!" A beaming voice spoke next to me.

My eyes slowly moved to the source and tried their best to focus, I could see Togata's recognizable blonde hair and his blue eyes. "Wh.. what?" I spoke up, my voice raspy and hurting a bit.

Suddenly, everything focused, and I felt worry wash over me. "How long was I out for?!" Togata only laughed at me and waved his hand. "About 30 minutes." He said with a grin on his face.

I let out a relieved sigh and glared at my friend, "Not funny To..." This only made his smile widen.

I looked around the white room, quickly realizing that I was in one of the hospital beds in Recovery Girl's room. I could feel bandages on my body, and still a slight sting in my arm.

Pulling my arm up, I couldn't see any blood, bandages covering the wound that may or may not still be there. Recovery's quirk was quite strong. It may have healed the wound already.

"It was a difficult exam.. they paired you up with the worst guy in class. You should be proud of yourself for making it." Togata sounded serious for once, and I could see his eyes piercing through mine with a bit of worry.

I nodded slowly, remembering the fight I had only an hour ago. "I don't know if I could call it a victory.. but I'm happy that I made it." I let a sigh escape my mouth, my eyes drifting down towards the floor.

"Dont be so hard on yourself (L/N), you were amazing." A small smile appeared on my features, "Thanks.. " I replied quietly, looking up at him.

Suddenly, I realized something, "Where are Hado and.." I couldn't say his name, I was too scared of the answer I'd get from Togata. That he was just watching others fight right now and didn't want to be near me.

Togata placed a hand on my arm, "Hado is trying her best to prepare for her exam right now. She hoped you wouldn't mind. She came to check on you before."

I immediately shook my head, "Of course not! She should be prepared for her battle, I get it." Togata started laughing a bit and nodded.

"I knew you'd say that." His laugh then turned into a smile, and his eyes seemed to really stare at mine. "About Tamaki," my smile faded right away. Did I want to hear it? Probably not..

Togata's smile only grew bigger. "He was supposed to fight right after your exam, but instead, he came straight here." My eyes widened from his words, not being able to process them.

"He told the teacher he was feeling sick and that he didn't want to do the exam, Miss Kayama eventually managed to pursue him to do his exam. He should almost be done by now." I could feel tears building up, but tried my best to keep them from falling.

My mouth opened, not sure of what to say. "But, why aren't you watching him?" I asked in confusion because Amajiki was his best friend.

My words only made Togata chuckle, "I promised him I'd watch over you until he was back." I couldn't even try holding back the tears. There wasn't much, but they did fall, leaving me speechless.

"Thank you, Togata. I really appreciate it." I said with a quiet voice and a smile, really showing my gratitude. Togata smiled back with his wide grin.

I then pushed the blanket off of me and pulled my legs up. "Whoa, hey? What are you doing?" Togata spoke up, grabbing my arms gently.
