Mako, Bolin, and Asami had made their way to the temple as they were shown where they would be staying. Alessia had heard the news. Lin had officially resigned as the new chief was sworn in. Chief Saikhan had let everyone know that he would fully support Tarrlok's task force. This had angered Alessia a lot.
"Hey Alessia. You okay?" Mako asked as Alessia nodded her head lightly. "What's it like, working under Beifong?" Mako asked while taking a spot on the bench next to her.
"I only recently started. She looks out for those who work for her unlike Saikhan. She's not power hungry. Why?" Alessia wrote with a question.
"I wanna join. I know with my background and what not from growing up. I don't know. I just want to be responsible and help my city in any way." Mako spoke. Alessia grabbed his shoulder gently and squeezed it.
"Tell the chief exactly that. I'm sure she'll let you join." Mako nodded at Alessia's words.
"You're right. At least put in a good word for me?" Mako asked as she nodded again.
"I'm visiting her here soon to give her reports. I'm not supposed to but she deserves to know. Don't tell anyone." She added.
"I'll come with you." Mako added as Alessia got up and took the lead. They made their way to the station before going inside.
"Officer Alessia, we need these signed and filed." A new officer Alessia did not recognize gave her a small pile of folders. She nodded with a raised brow.
"New officers?" Mako asked as Alessia felt uneasy at this.
I think he is getting loyal people inside." Alessia wrote. She set the paperwork on her desk before grabbing reports and dragged Mako out of the station.

It was not long as they made it to the hospital. Just around the corner from the station. They spoke to the person at the desk who told them where Lin's room was. Third floor and fourth door down the hall on the right. Alessia took the lead as they made their way up the stairs. Finding the room as she knocked. Letting them in before shutting the door behind her. Lin had the room to herself.
"What is it now?" Lin's voice sounded annoyed. Alessia peeked through the curtain and waved. Lin's facial expression changed quickly from annoyed to a soft smile.
"Come in." She spoke as Alessia came in followed by Mako.
"Mako. What can I do for you?" Lin asked as Alessia sat on Lin's bedside and pulled out the reports she had snuck out.
"I just want to do whatever I can to help Chief." Mako replied as Lin raised a brow at Alessia. She nodded her head to show Mako could be trusted.
"What's going on at the station?" Lin took the reports from Alessia and started going over them.
"There are more officers there. I didn't see any of your men there. I feel like he has loyal supporters surrounding him." Alessia spoke as Lin sighed.
"I feared that was going to happen. Let me guess, he has you on desk duty?" Lin asked as Alessia nodded.
"Maybe because he knows Alessia is loyal to you." Mako suggested. Alessia blushed and looked to the side.
"Of course she's loyal to me. We have trust in each other." Lin smirked that had made Alessia turn even redder than she already was. She was avoiding looking at them like the plague.
"Anyways, we'll take those back so they aren't missed." Mako spoke as he gathered up the files.
"Good luck. Stay out of trouble." Lin spoke as Mako left the room. Alessia crossed her arms while staring at Lin.
"Take a picture. It lasts longer." Lin smirked as Alessia was taken aback. Blushing a slight bit before shaking her head. Rolling her eyes at Lin's chuckle. "I mean it though! Stay out of trouble." The older woman added. Alessia gave her a playful smile with a shrug before following Mako out.
"That's a different side of the chief." Mako spoke.
"Don't let her fool you Mako. She is the Iron Lady." Alessia warned him.
"You're right. Anyways. See you at the temple?" Mako asked as she nodded her head going back to the station. Alessia had put the reports back unnoticed and sat at her desk. Signing and filing the reports quick as possible.
"Where were you?" Saikhan's voice made her jump. He had his arms crossed. She was saved as Korra and Tenzin made their appearance.
"She doesn't talk, chief." Tenzin spoke.
"I don't know why Beifong recruited you but I assume it's for some reason. I have my eyes on you." Saikhan spoke. "As of now, all reports of the Equalists will go through me now." He spoke. Alessia followed Korra out who was now fuming.
