11. VIHAAN

Alone with this She-devil.

Damn my luck.

She sits in the passenger adjusting her attire.

When I first saw her coming into the mandap I was literally mesmerised by her beauty. She looks ethereal in her red bridal outfit. Red surely is her colour. I was so fascinated by her that I even forgot to blink. It was Neil sappy comment that pulled me out from my momentarily lapse. She might be goddess of beauty but that doesn't change the fact that she is still her fathers daughter.

"Do you need all night for adjusting." I snapped at him.

"Keep your tone down husband and you don't know the problems that I have to endure by wearing this outfit." She answered back.

"Just be done with it already."

"Move." Finally, she is done.

I start my car and pulled into street. My family has already left. The roads are almost empty. I sped my car as I don't want to spend any time in her closed proximity.

I looked at her hoping for a trace of fear as many usually don't like speeding and starts trembling. But not her. She is absolutely unfazed by my fast driving. In fact, she is looking outside window leisurely.

"I know I look beautiful. No need to stare like a creep." She says with smirk on her lips.

I scoffed at her.

"Don't over-estimate your worth. And I was looking for fear on your face because of my speeding"

"Aww. You really thought that your speeding will scare me. Try harder next time Mr. Oberoi. I don't fear these mundane things. I already faced much more scary things." She replied mockingly.

I gripped the steering wheel so tight that my knuckles turned white. Only this girl knows how to get on my nerves.

After a long time, which is 10 min, we reached my house.

I step out of my car and move towards entrance without looking behind. But didn't miss her saying asshole under her breath. Cool down Vihaan cool.

I see mom is waiting at entrance with puja essentials and greh pravesh items.

"I told you maa that this marriage has no value. Why are you doing all this thing? You should go and rest."

"Shut up and let me complete my wishes. You may consider this as a contract marriage but for me she is my daughter-in-law." Replied mom.

I can't win with my mom. She will have her way anyway. After the project will be done, I know mom will be hurt. I'm sorry mom already.

"Come beta stand with Vihaan." Mom says sweetly to She-devil.

We stand together but with enough distance. Mom did the aarti and then Sharvari kicked the rice and entered the house.

She looks around the house and some kind of emotion appears on her face. She smiles at mom and tells her that she has a beautiful house.

"Bhai Bhabhi your room is ready." Neil shouts from my room upstairs.

"Go beta. You must be tired." Mom says and then retire to her room.

I move towards my room with Sharvari following me behind.

"Bro, I put so much effort into my creation. I'm sure you guys are going to love it. Good night." He left winking at me before I could ask anything.

When I enter my room, I was hit by smell of perfumes and scented candles. That twat covered my whole room with roses and scented candles.

"Bloody hell. I didn't know that this was part of the deal" says She-devil.

"It's not what it looks like and don't get any funny ideas in your brain." I said clenching my jaw.

She laughs and says, "Do you really think I would sleep with you. Never husband. And I would never even think about you in my dreams."

Neil you are so dead.

I go to my bed and throw the whole decoration into the dustbin.

I turned around and see that she has already take off her jewellery and dupatta. Her long hair is now open freely. Come on Vihaan stop getting distracted. I internally slap my head.

"Where is my room?" she asked.

Well, I did arrange her separate room as I don't like anyone in my personal space but how did she know. I thought she will fight with me. My surprise must be visible because she added further.

"Don't be surprised husband. I know how much you dislike me and wont tolerate me. And beside I don't want to share same room with you either. The feeling is mutual."

I control my anger and open the door of room to my right.

"Here. All your luggage is already placed. If you have any problem, then do suffer in silence." I said

She just smiles at me and give me her finger and shut the door on my face.

The fucking nerve of this woman. God help me with patience.

I go back to my room and changes into sweatpants.

As I laid down on my bed my mind drift back to todays event.

I'm officially married now even only for some time.
