I'm sitting here with Pakhi parents and they are still feeding me all delicious things even after I just had lunch.
"No please Smriti. I'm full to my throat. I can't even move now." I say when she is still trying to feed me rasgulla.
"But you barely have eaten anything. How can you be full?" she argues.
"Angel tummy is round like Doraemon." Pakhi says while laughing.
"Yes baby you are right". I laugh with her too.
"How did you find her?" Pakhi father ask me.
"Actually it wasn't me who found her. I just track her location and my partner was the one who found her and take her to me." I inform him.
"Can we meet him? We should also thank him too." He says.
How can they meet him when I don't even know his identity.
"Yes of course but he is not here. When he will come back I'll give him your message." I lie because I don't have any other option.
We talked for some time and then I decided to leave.
"Will you come to meet me?" Pakhi ask in a small voice.
"Yes baby. And you can video call me whenever you want to talk. I packed your tab too in your stuff. Now give me a goodbye kiss." I say while kissing her cheeks.
I hug her tightly last time and then move into my car.
As I move out of their area my car stopped working on the highway. I step out and check my engine.
There is smoke coming out of bonnet. Shit man. I check my phone to call for help but there is no service available.
I look around for any kind of help but there is nothing. Looks like I have to take a lift. God please don't send a creep for my help.
As I'm standing here for help I see a car coming towards and stop right before me. I instantly goes into my fight mode. If this man tries anything then I will—
"Bhabhi?"
Huhh? I have heard this voice before. The door opens and I see Shivansh stepping out.
"What are you doing here?" he ask me.
"My car broke down and I'm stuck here now. Now please can you give me a lift." I say trying to light his mood.
"Of course I will give you lift. Come sit in the car." He say clearly not getting my sarcasm.
"By the way what are you doing here?" I ask her locking my seatbelt.
"We have a project going on in Nasik. I came here to solve some legal issues. Why are you here?" he replies.
"I'm here to drop someone and also I also have some work here." I say looking outside.
I can't tell him the real reason. I don't want others to know about what I do.
We drove silently for some time but I feel strange sitting here mutely.
"Thank you for the other day. When you help Vihaan." I say.
"That's what a family do." He replies.
"Don't you hate me too? My father is the reason for your sufferings." I ask him.
"No. I don't share bhai view. Its not your fault that your father is such a monster. Same as it isn't our fault that our father is a scumbag." He says flatly.
I look at him keenly and notice that he always keeps his emotions in check. He never allows himself to feel anything.
"Sometimes its okay to release yours thoughts Shiv. You don't have to keep it under control all the time." I say
He look at me with question in his eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"I can see the demons that resides within you and how much you try to keep them under control." I reply
He stops the car and turns toward me.
"How can you see that when my own family can't?"
"Because I know someone who also breeds demon within himself." I smile sadly.
And what I said is true. Sarthak has also his demons and I have seen how much it changes a person when they control their dark side with their full power.
"Then you also know that we can't allow demon to come outside because it will destroy the others." He says gripping the steering wheel tightly.
"The problem is you never healed. You just kept going."
"How could I have healed when there was no one for me. Maa was already broken and my brothers were busy in taking over business. Neil was just a kid then. I have no other option left than to pretend its okay and move on. I don't hate my family for this but I hate myself for being so pathetic." He says breathing harshly.
"Calm down Shiv. You were also a kid then. You can't change your past but you can reform your future. I promise you I'll be always there for you. You can share your all pain with me. I will never judge you." I say soothingly.
"Why would you do that?" he ask with question in his eyes.
"Because you are a brother for me. I also have my dark side Shiv. Everyone has their own darkside. Can you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be?"
"No." he says to himself.
"Allow yourself some freedom Shiv. Everyone has flaws. And always remember some beautiful paths can't be discovered without getting lost."
"Thank you Bhabhi. I needed this exposure." He starts the car.
After that conversation we silently cover the distance and reach the home.
When we both enter the house together.
"You car will be here in the morning." Shiv informs me.
"Thanks Shiv."
I climb upstairs and just when I'm about to open my door a hand pulls me inside the another room.
