I'm sitting in my home office and reading the latest news when I hear footsteps. I see Arush and Rudra approaching me.
"Did you see the news?" Rudra asks.
"What news?" I reply
"The foreign investor John Smith met with a fatal accident and died on the spot." He informs me.
"Oh? RIP." I say flatly.
"Isn't he the same man who misbehaved with Sharvari?" Arush asks me.
"Yes." I nods.
"Looks like karma gives him the punishment." Rudra says.
I scoffs internally. These types of bastards don't get their punishment from karma. They have to be punished by devil himself. He made the grave mistake when he tried to touch my wife. I may leave him at that moment but I already decided at that moment that his time on earth is done. He shouldn't have even look at Sharvari direction. Now see how his mistake cost him his life.
"What's news on Sung project?" I ask them.
"It is 90% done. You can probably get rid of your fake marriage in 2-3 months." Rudra says.
"Shut up Rudra. My marriage is not your concern." I shout at him furiously.
"Why are you shouting Vihaan? You wanted the same thing." Arush questions me.
Yes I did wanted this but not now. Now when I hear word 'temporary' and 'fake' I feel anger and a pang in my heart. I don't want this marriage to end. I can't let go of Sharvari. She has become my favourite person now. I feel happy and peaceful with her. I can't even remember the time when I used to hate her. That feels like eternity ago. I can't leave her. I will talk with her today and request her to give this marriage a real shot. Yes I'll do this today.
"Vihaan? Where are you lost?" Arush snaps his fingers.
"Nothing. Both of you. Out. Now." I dismiss them.
Now I'm thinking all the ways of how to start this conversation. I think Sharvari also started liking this relationship because her eyes softens now when she looks at me. She even let her guards down a little around me. She hasn't told me about her work but I think she needs more time to trust me. I'm ready to give her all the time just she stays with me.
I didn't even realise how long I have been in my voice. I hear a knock coming and her my favourite voice.
"Hey? Can I come in?" Sharvari asks.
"Yes" I say. I realise I'm smiling just by hearing her voice.
"You realise you have been here from morning and now its evening. What were you thinking lost in your head." She asks me sitting on my table.
"You. I was thinking about you." I answer.
"Aww..so sweet of you husband." She smiles but she didn't get the meaning behind my words. I hold her hands in mine and stare into her eyes.
"I'm serious fireball. I'm thinking about you. Like all the time. I wanted to ask you something. I want you to give this marriage a real shot." She pulls her hand away and backs away from me.
"Don't Vihaan." She whispers.
"Don't what Sharvari"
"Don't say these things. You don't even realise what you are doing."
"What am I doing?" I ask confused.
"You are making it harder for me to not fall for you. I know you don't do love and I was the same but now I'm falling for you. I look at you and I just love you and it terrifies me. It terrifies me what I would do for you. You make me feel all these emotions and I want it to stop. Now. I never allowed myself to get attached with anyone because after a time they all left. I don't want to feel that loneliness." She says with teary eyes.
"I'll not leave you fireball. Ever. And you can fall as much as you want because I'm here to catch you. I promise I'll never hurt you. You have me fireball. For now and eternity." I say hugging her closely.
"What if you start to hate me again?" she ask in a small voice.
"I can hate myself but never you. You're my peace fireball." She looks me in the eyes for a few beats and then kisses me gently. This kiss feels much more. Its like she is allowing me to see inside her heart. Like she has finally accepted our bond.
"If we are doing this I want to tell you everything about me. I want our relationship to build on honesty." She says after we settle on the couch.
"You can tell me anything." I say holding her.
"I'm a tech expert Vihaan or you can say a hacker. I work with a man who saves girls who gets abducted. No one knows about this except Shivansh. And I'll help you in bringing my father down. I have every dirty detail about him." She then tells me about how she launders the money from his father and how his father steals money from funds.
"Who is this man you work with?" I ask her.
"I don't know. He never tells his identity. He just call me and sends information."
"You work with a man you don't know anything about?" I screech.
"He is not a danger for me Vihaan. Calm down." She says rolling her eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes fireball. I don't trust him."
"Jeez Vihaan. Leave that topic and listen to me. There is someone special in my life who I want you to meet."
"Who?" I say narrowing my eyes.
"Savi maa. She was my nanny. After my mom's death she is the only one who took care of me. She loved me like her own kid. But few years back she was diagnosed with Alzheimer and since then I keep her in the special care unit. My father kidnapped her and uses the threat to force me to this marriage. I only agreed because I have none other option. After the marriage I shifted her to another care unit with security. I didn't tell anyone about this but I want you to meet her. She will be happy to see you." she smiles and I wipes away her tears.
I never thought that her father would use this dirty blackmailing on her own daughter. If I hated him before I despise him now. I was going to make him pay for what he did to my family but it's gonna be so much worse now.
"Your father will pay the price fireball. I'll destroy him completely."
"And I'll help you." she adds.
"Guess we both are unlucky in father department. Mine is also a bastard. He abuses maa her whole life and even after divorce he took away my sister."
"He will also pay Vihaan. We'll bring Shivika back." She says kissing my clenched fists.
Something big has changed today. We both open ourselves fully to each other. I can already see our connection getting strong. With Sharvari by my side I feel like I can conquer anything. She said she love me but what I feel for her is much stronger than that.
