Friendship Matters A Lot More

Jay said that he thinks Aman likes me as well just because Aman had hugged me and comforted me. But I totaly disagree with the point. As much as I know Aman he is really clear about his feelings for everyone and I did not want any stupid false hope rising up. But then Jay noticed my disagreement and he changes the topic and we chatted flr sometime. Today I tried yo talk to him about him. We mostly talked about me or my issues but I wanted to know him more.  I was the only girl he said he talked to. He talked to Alice as well but she had broke hid trust and hurt him so he almost hated her. I gkt to know many more thi gs about him throughout the night but Then he dared me to sleep, which he usually did as he knew if I could I would never sleep. He kept asking me why I did so but I want just ready to reveal it to anyone not even my parents.
Next day in school was odly different. Mia seemed a bit mad at me for which I hadn't did anything and Aman and Sam seemed mad at Mia. So in the lunch break I made them all sit at out R usual place and confronted them. Mia just lost it at tht point and said that I was trying to steal her boyfriend. Which made me mad bit I tried to control myself and calmly asked her
''What made u feel like that Mia ? I literally did not do anything''
She scoffed
''Huh.. You did  nothing? Aman was late for The date cuz he was with you and he kept talking about you. Yes Aman tell her what did we tal abou all the time?''
I was shocked at her outburst and just couldn't take it anymore. I walked out just saying
''I didn't expect you to be so fucking toxic Mia''
Sadly Sam found me sitting at the last bench of an empty class and putting my head down. He walked in and I tried to hold my tears back but I failed miserably. He sat besides me and held my hand.
''You are very good friend Amayra and you don't deserve this. Mia must be mad at you because she misunderstood the situation. Don't worry she will understand it soon. ''
I calmed down and didnt even realize we were sitting very close and I was practically clinging on his muscular arm.
Then Jay walked in but seeing us something changed in his eyes I had never seen that loom in his eyes and observed it for the first time. But he sat down at the bench right in front of me and told me to go and talk to Mia. He really had the best advice as Mia calmed down and finally became her normal self after we talked.
After the Drama the following days were peaceful. I spent time with my other friends as well and went on cute little dates with Sam. The school syllabus was running fast as well so I was busy studying most of the time when not with friends kr I had Jay tutor me on VC or come over at my house.
Well I guess the way were so close made people think we were dating and that is obvious.
As I thought everything was starting to settle down and was chilling on my couch, I got a furious text from Mia saying that our friendship was over!
I was shocked. Friendship matters the most to me and how could she just text me saying our friendship was over? What happened and why did it had me involved?
