Amelia and I got ready to leave to the club as we booked our Uber. "Well, I never knew you even had those kinds of dresses in your closet!" Amelia, who seemed surprised by the dress that I wore.
"My dear, there are a lot of things that you don't know about me that will soon unveil themselves." I proudly say with a smirk written in my face.
" Oh, really? I must say that you are looking ravishing tonight. You'll catch every guys attention with that dress and hairstyle" that felt good coming from someone. "And I know for a fact Bada will also like what she sees." She puts a cocky smile, and I suddenly lose interest in the conversation and glare at her.
"Not again, Amelia. I told you there's nothing going on between us, and it has not even been 3 weeks since we and I met. And I'm not interested in girls, so whether she likes it or not, I would not really care." Deep down, I knew I wanted her to complement how I look. I mean, I did have a few encounters with girls in my last year of high school, and I wouldn't say I enjoyed it. Maybe I did not come across someone who can please me. But either way, that means nothing. I am not interested.
"Well, our Uber is here we should get going." I nodded, and we both got into the Uber and drove off.

We walked into the club, and people were already drunk and sweaty. I immediately wanted to leave, but who cares. I'll stay for the sake of Amelia. She's a party girl, after all.
"Come, Y/n, let's go dance." She pleaded while grabbing my arm to pull me towards the dance floor.
"Really? We just arrived in Amelia. I'm not going to dance right now, but you can go." She looked unsure. "Are you sure? Who will you be with all this time?"
"Yes, I am sure, don't worry about me, I'll just sit there by the bar." I assure her that I'll be fine. She can go and dance. "Okey, I will see you." She hugged and kissed me on the cheek.
I smiled, looking at her swaying her hips to the dance floor. I then walked towards the bar. "Hi, can I have some water please." The bartender nodded.
"Really? Water at a club? I thought you were here to have some fun." I looked behind me to see Bada smiling at me.
"Oh hey Bada, didn't see you there." I said as I grabbed my glass of water from the bartender and drank it.
"And I did not think you looked this good when you go out clubbing." Oh, that compliment hit the spot. I suddenly felt butterflies on my stomach. I looked up to see her smirking at me.
"Well, thank you for the compliment. You look good as well." She chuckles. "Baby, I know I look good most of the time." Butterflies. For some reason, I liked how she called me.
"Mmh, confidence... I see." She chuckled. "You know confidence is key to a woman's heart, so I have to try by all means." Oh my goodness. If I stay here for too long, I might faint from Bada's compliments.
