Chapter 27: The War

Bada's Pov

A loud knock was heard from the main door, disrupting me from my continuous thoughts. I sighed and helped myself up to walk towards the door. I slowly opened the door and was met by 14 eyes staring back at mine.

I exhaled in relaxation and spoke up. "Thank God y'all are here. What took y'all so long?" I questioned them as I opened the door wider and moved to the side to let them in.

"Seriously? Is that how you were taught to greet your guests?" One man spoke up. "Yoongi, I don't have time for any of this back and forth bickering with you right now. I need to find my girl. Now, please just get inside so we can get to work." I said, rolling my eyes. I could hear the sighs from all of them as they entered the apartment.

"You didn't tell me you owned such a nice apartment, Bada?" Taehyung speaks up. "It's not mine. It's my girlfriend's. I was going to meet you guys at my place but you know I couldn't leave this place. Every secondi hoped that she would just walk in that door... That's why I couldn't leave. Anyways, leave it... y'all won't understand." I said as I fidget with my hands.

I then felt a warm hand placed on my shoulders. I looked up to see Namjoon, who placed his palm on my right shoulder in a comforting manner. "I can tell you really love this girl. She's seems special if she was able to get you acting like this. I mean, it hasn't even been a long time since she went missing, right? How long has it been again?" Namjoon questions.

"Just 3 days. But it feels like 3 years. Like I'm so scared. Whenever every second passes by, I just get reminded by what kind of a man Edward is. He can do anything in those 3 days. Let alone 3 days. In 3 seconds, he can burn the entire country. He won't even care if it's his own daughter. If that man showed no remorse while he was murdering his own parents, what would be of his daughter? I'm scared, guys. I'm the one responsible for all this. If I had just left her alone, she wouldn't be in this situation." I said as I became angry with myself.

"No, you are not." One of the men who was quiet stands up and walks towards me....Jimin.

"You're not responsible for this, dude. Have you maybe forgotten how that man used you in order to get ahold of his daughter? Even if you were out of the way and left her alone, he would have used someone else to get ahold of her. He would've asked another person to do what he sent you to do. Regardless of this, it was going to happen anyway. The way this man perfected this kidnapping seems to be something that was planned a long time ago. There is no way someone can kidnap an entire school without getting caught unless you've been planning and improvising your plan for a long time. He probably didn't tell you about it, maybe cause he knew you would fall for her. He's way smarter than you know. He left traces on purpose. He wants to get caught, and I know that the reason he probably wants this is because he has a big plan. And I'm getting a feeling that it's a dangerous one, to be exact. So we need to use our logic if we trace them and catch them. We need a full proof valid plan. Everything needs to be top-notch." Jimin says.

We all nod our heads. "I think we should get along with the planning ,we can't waste anymore time." Jungkook says.

"Okay, let's get to work." I say, and as soon as I say that, they all rummage through their bags and take out laptops, guns, wires, speakers, keyboards, etc. Like damn what's going on.

I slowly feel myself regaining consciousness. I blink a few times feeling the cold floor that my body is attached to. I slowly get myself up and lean on the wall behind me.
