Y/n's pov
"Y/n, are you sure you want to go on a date with him?" Amelia asks me as I do my makeup preparing to go to a date with Hyunjin.
I looked at Amelia through the mirror and continued doing what I was doing, completely ignoring her.
"Y/n? I'm asking you something. Don't just ignore me like that because you're going to make me worry about you. I don't want you to do something that you are going to regret. Y/n!? Are you listening to me??!" Amelia comes closer to me and pulls my chair so that I come face to face with her.
I pull my chair back towards the mirror to continue my makeup. Ignoring the tear drop on my left eye. I quickly brush it off for Amelia to not see it. "I saw that. There's no need for you to hide it. And I really thought we were best friends. But clearly, I was mistaken." Amelia grabs her stuff from the counter to leave.
"Hey!! Where are you going? And what do you mean you were wrong about us being friends?" Amelia stops her tracks before the door and slightly turns around to face me.
"I am going home. And yes, I was clearly wrong because if you were really my friend, you wouldn't think twice before letting me know about your worries. I share everything with you because I trust you. And you don't do that in return. You don't trust me at all. It's pretty clear. So what's the point of staying at your place when you clearly don't need me, huh?" I see Amelia crying, and it immediately breaks my heart.
Woah... I did not realize I was such a bad friend to her. I quickly go to her and hug her. And she hugs me back.
We both hear a car horn outside, which indicates that Hyunjin was here. We slowly detach from each other. "Okey, first of all, that's already a turn-off in a guy! Like, what's so hard in knocking the door?" Amelia says as she rolls her eyes. I slightly chuckled at her joke, imposed to lighten the moment.
"Okey... you're giving me a vibe that you don't like Hyunjin." I smile at her. "It's not that I don't like him, but I just don't want you to ruin your life having to be in a relationship with someone you don't love, Y/n. I'm only looking out for you." I nod my head.
"Thank you, and I promise you, when I come back, I will be completely honest with you. I will tell you everything that was going in my head. I promise." Amelia wanted to say something back, but we were disturbed by the knock on the already opened door.
"Oh, HI... I was coming to check you because I thought you did not hear my car horn." Hyunjin says, looking at me from head to toe. "Took you long enough!" I quickly look at Amelia and gaze at her. Hyunjin seems confused. "Ahm- sorry about that, she's a bit moody today." Amelia chuckles.
"Can we go now?" Hyunjin suggests, and I nod my head. I turn around to look at Amelia and give her a hug. I whisper into her ear, "I promise, don't worry. Just stay here for the time being until I am back. I'll be back in about 2 hours, so at 21h00, Okey?" I look at her for assurance, and she nods. I quickly grab my stuff and leave with Hyunjin

We arrive at the restaurant, and Hyunjin, being a gentleman, grabs the chair for me. "Thank you." he nods and sits across me. We are facing each other, and I don't know exactly how to feel about this entire thing.
"You look great, by the way." Hyunjin starts, breaking the ice in this table. "Thank you. You look great, too." He nods, and the waitress comes to take our orders and leaves.
As we wait for our food, Hyunjin decides to do jokes to brighten the mood.

After our food arrives, we immediately get to it and eat. Hyunjin has been making jokes the entire time, and I feel bad because I haven't been reciprocating the same energy. Instead, I would just smile and not laugh.
