Bada's Pov

I walked out of the restaurant and saw Y/n standing outside of the car while leaning her back on it.

"Why did you come out of the car?" I asked her as I approached her and slid my left arm around her while the other arm held her purse and gave her a peck on her lips.

"I was about to come to you. I was wondering what took you so long?" She asked as she kept her eyes straight onto mine, which caused me to clear my throat, trying to think of something.

"Ah-ahem... w-well... your purse.... yes, your purse was not on your table, so I went to ask the waiter, and they ahem... had secured it. You know... to keep it safe." I said as I looked back into her eyes, which I was unable to read. There was silence, and the eye contact was making ne sweat. She was looking at me as if she wanted me to say something.

Suddenly, she slowly nodded her head,I let out a breath of relief, thinking she bought my small lie, but that wasn't it.

"You're stuttering...." She says quietly. She slowly comes closer to me until there's no space. She brings her hand close to my face and brushes my cheek delicately as she scans my face. This is honestly scaring me. "...which means you're lying." She finishes her sentence in almost a whisper and pecks my lips very slowly.  She detaches from me and folds her arms in front of her.

She keeps the eye contact lingering, and due to feeling ashamed and scared, I sigh and lower my head. "Edward was there, right?" She asks, and I could feel my heart pounding. Did she see us and hear the entire conversation? I thought.

I slowly nodded my head while I still looked down, fidgeting with her purse that's on my hand. "Did he say something to you? If he did, then tell me. He still hasn't left, I'm sure. I'll deal with him." She says proudly, and I look up to see her looking at me with her arms still folded.

If only you knew that dealing with him is not an issue. I was also not in any way sad about his confrontation. But I'm sad and scared about your confrontation and you finding out the truth. I thought as I walked closer to her.

"It's okay. Let's not add fuel to the fire. Rather, let's leave. We have school tomorrow." I suggested, hoping she'll agree. She exhales and nods her head. She turns around to open the car door but stops suddenly. I frown at it, and she slowly turns back to me.

"Bada... I may be many things, but... I am not dumb. And I don't like to be played a fool. What I mean by this is... I don't appreciate lies. Appreciate is even an understatement... In fact, I HATE lies. And I just wish we could both... you know, not lie to one another. In that way, our relationship will be builded not only on love but also on trust and honesty. Which we need in order for our relationship to work out. This was just a minor lie, and it's better to put a stop to it now before it becomes a constant thing. And today, when you lied to me for the first time... I got scared that you might be lying about other things as well. But I guess I was just too in my emotions. I just hope we become honest with one another from now on. I'd appreciate it if you just come clean with me, alright?" She says, but I was too lost to even reply to her. I just zoned out, and I could swear I heard my own heartbeat through my ears.

She frowns at my reaction and grabs my arm. She shakes it lightly to wake me up from where I was. "Are you okay, babe?" She asks.

"Huh!? O-oh y-yes." I nod while answering. I then took a step back. "Let's go." I say to her as I left her standing and went around the car to enter. She followed and opened her side of the door and got in. I gave her purse to her, and I could tell she was observing me. I looked up to meet her eyes and gave her an awkward smile, and she returned it.
