11: The Cell Games

It was now a week later, the day of the Cell Games. We had all met up at the lookout, before flying towards the arena. On the way, we met up with Tien and Yamcha. After a brief discussion about how Vegeta passed them and flipped them off, we headed down to the Arena.

Once we arrived, we were greeted by Cell. "Ah, I see you've brought the whole gang along to witness our battle. Piccolo, Trunks, Tenshinhan. And Yamcha! What a surprise! How's it going, man?" Yamcha seemed surprised to be addressed by Cell, but he responded. "Oh, uh, good. I brought towels and water bottles." 

"And like that, you've already contributed more than Vegeta." I burst out laughing at this, with my brother shooting me a glare, me responding by flipping him the bird.

At this point, the announcer approached, asking if we were going to fight Cell. When he asked, he was interrupted by the World Martial Arts Champion, Mr. Satan! He told us that he would be the one to defeat Cell. Kakarot decided to let Mr. Satan fight Cell first. He rushed at Cell, with him effortlessly swatting the Champ into a nearby mountain.

After he recovered, Kakarot entered the ring. He and cell began to power up, beginning to brawl soon after. After a bit, Kakarot kicked Cell out of the ring. "Guys, he ringed Cell out!" Yamcha shouted. But Cell just hovered above the ground. "You just forgot we could fly, didn't you?" "No, but I just have hope, okay? Is that so wrong?" He defended himself. Tien was quick to insult Yamcha yet again. "The fact that you have any hope left in your life is your most admirable quality." Before Yamcha was able to thank him, he was ordered by Cell not to. 

After a long battle, it ended with Kakarot in the air, aiming a Kamehameha at Cell. We were all shocked by this. 'This attack will destroy the planet! What's he thinking?!' Is what we were all thinking. But as he was about to fire, he shocked us all by using instant transmission to teleport to the ground, right underneath Cell. He fired with a shout, creating a massive explosion.

When the dust settled, the top of Cell's body was destroyed. Once we were optimistic, Cell regenerated and jumped up. They continued fighting for several minutes, with Kakarot looking winded. "I give up." 'what?....WHAT?'

This statement shocked everybody, including Cell. "B-But we're not finished. I'M not finished! This isn't a victory, this is... I don't even know what this is!"

"Nah, it's totally a victory. 'Cause I' giving up. That means you win."

"Every word you just spoke has made me violently angry! OH GREAT! NOW I'M AGREEING WITH VEGETA!!" Cell and I both shouted.

"Every word you just spoke has made me violently angry! OH GREAT! NOW I'M AGREEING WITH CELL!!" Vegeta shouted at the same time as us.

"Hold your horses, Cell. You said this was a tournament. There's still a fighter left to take you on, so you'll have to fight him first." Kakarot said to Cell. 'Oh no...' I knew what Kakarot was thinking. 'He's thinking of-'

"Gohan! Get out here!"

I decided to speak up. "Kakarot, no! I'm not gonna go over the issues with having Gohan fight Cell, (I know Piccolo will do that for me), and instead I'm gonna take my turn against Cell. I've grown a lot stronger since the last time he saw me, and I'm ready for a fight!" Kakarot looked upset at this and was going to speak up, but was interrupted by Cell. "She's right, *Kakarot!* I would much rather fight the Saiyan Princess than your half-breed bookworm."

Kakarot reluctantly agreed, and Cell and I were getting ready to fight. But before we could, we were once again interrupted by Kakarot. "Hey, Cell! Have a senzu bean!" To the shock of everyone, Kakarot threw a senzu bean to Cell. I knew that yelling at him would get nothing accomplished, so I used this distraction to rush at Cell.
