The Wrath of a Saiyan

17: Rematch

Luckily, for the time being, Majin Buu was waiting patiently for an hour to pass. This was pretty uneventful, except for when Chi-Chi got herself killed. She walked up to Buu, smacked him on the head, and started complaining about how Buu killed Gohan and how he wants to fight her other son. Buu was annoyed by this, so he turned her into an egg, before stomping on her. While this was horrifying, it served as great motivation for Goten, who saw the whole thing and was now fully motivated to get stronger and kill Majin Buu.

Other than that one incident, everything was relatively fine. 

For thirty minutes.

After a half hour had passed, Buu had grown too impatient to wait any longer. "I'm done waiting! Bring me to him now!" His energy was shooting out of him, starting to damage the Lookout. Piccolo finally relented. "Fine, I'll bring you to him." Piccolo began walking into the building that housed the Time Chamber. I began to follow, but he stopped me. "Rika, you stay out here with the others." I began to object, since this was not the plan, but was interrupted. "The plan has changed. I can't tell you now, but I need you to stay out here, just in case. If Majin Buu somehow comes out of the chamber without us, you'll be the last line of defense." I reluctantly agreed, and watched Piccolo lead Buu to the Time Chamber.

"If Gotenks fails at beating Majin Buu, Piccolo plans on destroying the door, which will trap them all inside for eternity. Luckily, we'll be able to wish them back with the Dragon Balls. And it looks like Piccolo's taking the long way to the chamber, giving the boys even more time." Dende said, filling us in on Piccolo's plan.

I was unsure how I felt about the new plan. 'If I were in there with them, we might be able to beat Buu.' Dende spoke up, seemingly reading my mind. "Piccolo didn't want you to turn Golden Great Ape in the Time Chamber. We are unsure if you even can in there, as an artificial moon wouldn't be reflecting any sunlight. And even if you could, Piccolo didn't want to risk you breaking the door. You can be rather...destructive while in that form." I reluctantly agreed with this reasoning. 

For a few minutes, everything was calm, with us wondering what was going on. Suddenly, a hole opened up in front of us, and Majin Buu flew out of it. "Buu want candy..." He mumbled, looking at us. I turned to 18, a determined look on my face. "18, get everyone inside while I distract Majin Buu." 18 looked worried. "But what about you?" "Don't worry about me, just get everyone safe." 18 nodded, ushering the group inside. 

I turned to Buu. "Okay Buu, let's fight!" Buu seemed uninterested. "I don't wanna fight. I wanna eat." He then shot a beam from his antenna at me. I dodged, with the beam colliding with a rock, turning it into a candy bar. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on a minute. I'll let you turn some rocks into food, and then I'll give you the fight you've been waiting for." Buu still seemed bored. "No. Human candy tastes better than rocks. Also, you said you were too weak for Buu to have fun. You lie to Buu?" He seemed to be getting mad, so I tried to explain myself. "Right now, I'm too weak for you. But I have a powerful transformation that you haven't seen yet, and it should be enough to beat you. The only reason that I haven't used it yet is because it's pretty risky, and I don't have the best control over it. Every time I've used it, I was at risk of destroying the planet."

Buu seemed to accept this response, as he smirked at me. "Alright, I'll fight you. And then I'll turn you to chocolate!" He was waiting for me to power up, so I told him, "This form is pretty big, and there's no room up here. Let's go down to Earth, there's plenty of room down there." Buu agreed, and he followed me down.

"So, I'm sure you're familiar with the Super Saiyan transformations? There's regular Super Saiyan, which is what Gotenks used against you. Then there's Super Saiyan 2, which my brother and I used against you. Then there's Super Saiyan 3, which Kakarot used against you. But there's one Saiyan power that you've never seen. You see, we Saiyan warriors posses the ability to turn into Great Apes. The power we get from it isn't as great as Super Saiyan, but I managed to combine the two forms, giving me immense power." I was just dragging this out. 'The longer I take, the more time I can buy for 18 and everyone to hide. Also, I have a feeling that Piccolo and Gotenks are still alive. I was able to briefly sense their energy when Buu opened the portal. I just need to buy enough time for them to find a way to escape the Time Chamber, and then we can beat this monster together!'
