TEMPEST POV

The deafening sound of my phone alarm suddenly shatters the peaceful silence of my bedroom, rousing me from my deep sleep. As I struggle to shake off my drowsiness, I slowly stretch my arms and legs, feeling the softness of the sheets and the warmth of the covers against my skin. With my eyes still closed, I reach out my right arm from under the covers and slowly grope around the nightstand, my fingers searching for the source of the noise.

Finally, my fingertips brush against the cool, smooth surface of my phone, and I grasp it firmly in my hand. With a deep sigh, I press the button to silence the alarm, feeling a sense of relief as the loud, jarring ringtone fades away into the background. Gradually, I open my eyes, glancing at the screen, I saw the date and time displayed in bold letters. It was finally Friday, but I can't say that I am particularly excited about it. In fact, I felt a sense of dread creeping up on me, as I had no idea what the day would bring. Despite my uncertainty, I knew I had to face whatever lay ahead and make the best of it.

I take a deep breath, feeling the cool morning air fill my lungs as I prepare to start a new day.
Groggily, I dragged the warm duvet off my body and sat up on the edge of the bed, kneading my bleary eyes and taking a deep yawn. The chillness of the room brushed against my skin. My feet found their way to the plush rug beside the bed, relishing the velvety texture under my toes. I inhaled deeply, attempting to shake off the last traces of sleepiness that clung to my body.

Gradually, I rose to my feet and extended my arms up high, feeling my muscles gradually loosen up and my body slowly coming to life. I twisted my torso from side to side, relishing the satisfying cracks in my spine.

As I turned around, my eyes fell on the disheveled sheets and blankets still stacked up on the bed. I let out a deep sigh, knowing that I couldn't indulge in a nap anymore. I trudged over to the bed and began to smooth out the sheets, pulling them taut and tucking them in carefully. I fluffed the pillows, adjusting them just so, until the bed appeared neat and immaculate.

This week has been incredibly long and exhausting. Having to attend multiple meetings with Marcellus for three consecutive days, which left me with absolutely no free time to step foot into the technology building. On top of that, I had to prepare for today, Wednesday, and Thursday, which added more unnecessary shit to my already hectic schedule.

I had planned so much after what I hoped is the last contract, such as teaching Romeo a few things and getting him started on the system. Unfortunately, Marcellus completely ruined my plans by demanding my undivided attention throughout the week with the pointless ass meetings.

Gia and Gabby then showed me where the horse tournament is going to be hosted at, on top of them then proceeding to give me an entire protocol that I find to be absolutely pointless and even more a waste of my time.

Unfortunately the torture didn't stop there as we proceeded to go back to my room and pick through my wardrobe so that I can "look the par" of Marcellus significant other which makes me gag every single time I think about the entire situation in itself.

I walked around my bed heading to the bathroom to start my morning routine for breakfast.

Thursday, Sapphire and I spent the whole day doing girls maintenance, since the girls had so much preparing and prepping and other things to do that they could not join us. We went to the spa, got deep tissue massages which after the week I've had, I definitely needed it and should get it more often.

We got our nails and feet done, waxes, I even got my eyebrows waxed and laminated which usually I would wax my own eyebrows because I do not trust anyone except my brow lady in Washington, unfortunately circumstances have clearly changed and because of Sapphire, I decided to give it a try here and absolutely love it.
