27. Don't Let Your Baby Catch You

Saturday Sept. 24th  3PM

Janet's Loft in Brooklyn

Janet's POV

It was around 3pm on a Saturday and the sun was beaming through Janet's floor to ceiling windows into her living room and kitchen watching the women all cozied up and talking about life.

Trixie was in the kitchen with LaToya making some tea and snacks for the girls while La Toya was shuffling through Janet's takeout menus.

"Chinese, Sushi, or Pizza?" La Toya asked.

"I'm feeling like sushi tonight, but I don't know about the other girls. I guess we can vote when Lisa gets here." Trixie said.

While those two discussed dinner, straight ahead in the living room you had Karyn, Desire, Janet and Kylie all cozying up on Janet's big white and fluffy couch talking about anything and everything.

"Hey, does Lisa know I'm here?" Desire asked.

"Oh shoot, I kind of forgot to mention it to her. But I'm pretty sure she will be okay with it." Janet said while sipping on her tea Trixie made for them.

"Speaking of Lise, where is she? She's like an hour late." Kylie said.

"Well she is with Michael..." Karyn giggled.

"Ew!" Janet said, throwing a pillow at her making everyone laugh.

"Janet you act like we didn't walk in on Mike before while he was having sex and you also act like you haven't heard him either!" La Toya said, walking towards the living room.

"Thanks for the reminder..." Janet mumbled. "Anyways, what is for dinner?"

"Sushi and lots of wine" La Toya said, holding up the takeout menu and holding it up in the air while smiling.

RING RING RING KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Lisa's POV

The girls turned their heads towards the hallway and looked at the door.

"Who's knocking like that?" Kylie said. "That's gotta be Lise." Janet said, getting up and walking down the long elegant decorated hallway with black and white photography all along the wall.

"Right on time, hey Lise!!" Janet said while opening the door. .

"I SLEPT WITH TATIANA!" Lisa blurted out while walking into Janet's place.

Not understanding what's going on, Janet just stood there for a moment and then said "okay... Hey Lise, come in."

Feeling slightly embarrassed, she walked past Janet and toward the living room space, said hello to everyone and dropped her stuff onto the kitchen counter then started looking for a glass and the wine.

Janet followed her into the kitchen while everyone watched Lisa from afar and stayed quiet.

"Lise, what's going on?" Janet asked, needing more content.

Lisa just gave Janet a look and pulled out two wine bottles and asked "red or white?"

"White!" Kylie yelled from the couch waving at Lisa.

Even though she can tell Kylie was joking, Lisa decided to pour her and Kylie a glass of wine then grabbed Janet's hand and over to the living room.

"Alright you got your wine, now what's going on?" Janet asked, sitting across from Lisa with everyone else.
