Thursday Sept 30 7PM

Later on that day ...

It was around 7pm and after wandering the city for a while Danny finally decided to return to his hotel that his band was originally staying at while they were in New York. While wandering around the city Danny took that time to sort out his feelings and think of some type of plan to win Lisa back. He still couldn't believe how petty she was acting towards him and how she allowed Michael to get disrespectful towards him.

"Who does he think he is?" Danny had questioned while replaying this morning's events in his head then he mind automatically went back to the last thing Michael had told him which was "I'll be here to protect MY girls from your heartbreak".

"What the hell did she tell him?" Danny asked himself before being interrupted by his driver.

"Mr. Keough, we are here." His driver had let him know.

"Oh... thank you." Danny had blindly told him while sitting and straightening up.

Once out of the car, Danny walked back to his hotel room feeling completely defeated, annoyed, upset, and threatened by knowing Lisa was moving on and with someone who seemed pretty successful.

"There he is! What's up mate?" Trent yelled while walking up to Danny and greeting him, leaving the other fellas behind.

"Hey Trent." Danny had said quietly, walking past Trent not noticing or caring that his bandmates were having a party.

Still standing at the door, Trent took a quick swig of his beer and decided to follow Danny to his room to see why he was so down.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

"Come on in" Danny had said looking at a magazine that had him and Lisa on the cover of it.

"Perfect couple my ass." Danny had thought to himself as read the headline.

"Hey man, everything okay?" Trent had asked while walking to the chair that was sitting across from the bed.

"She actually found someone else." Danny had bitterly laughed while still looking at their picture.

"Wait do mean Danny?" Trent asked, confused.

"What I mean is... Lisa found some guy to replace me and from what I saw today she's practically hooked on him! And let's not start about how the guy knows my daughter!" Danny told Trent angrily as he started crumbling the magazine cover.

"I can't believe her! I show up to her house to fix things and she just allows this guy to come out of the house and interrupt the conversation like he owned the fucking place. Well guess buddy you may run shit at Tatiana's but not in this household! I'm the husband and the father!"

While Danny continued ranting, Trent sat back and watched his friend slowly becoming undone as he continued to talk about a situation that he was very confused about.

"So... I take it that things didn't go well today?" Trent asked Danny, interrupting his rant.

"Dude weren't you listening?"

"I was! But the last time you and I talked was about 2-3 weeks ago and how you enjoyed smashing some chick named Tatiana." Trent told honestly which reminded Danny about how absent minded he has been lately.

"Anyways Danny what are you going to do because you're in no position to really leave Lisa." Trent had told him.

"I don't know, all I know is I gotta get back on Lisa's good side and fast before this guy named Michael does anymore damage to my family." Danny had told Trent while pacing back and forth trying to calm his nerves.

"Dude sit down and breathe; you wanna beer or something?"

"No. I'm okay." Danny told Trent waving him off.

"Whatever you say man. Listen, I'm not sure what's going on with you and Lisa, but can we just be honest here, do you think she's gonna really take you back after the past year?"

"Listen I know I messed up, but listen it's been hard. You try living in the shadows of her father and her mother. And not only that, but is it bad that I want to pursue a music career; which you're a part of by the way."

"I'm not saying that you don't have things going on and I'm not saying that you aren't under pressure, but you must've forgotten that Lisa has been through a lot this year too. Did you forget the miscarriage she had earlier this year?"

Danny had stopped pacing around the room and once again plopped down on the bed taking in the words Trent had spoken and just thought how things have progressed since then. While Trent just stared at him for a bit before I spoke up again.

"And before you start, I'm not playing the blame game; but Danny you haven't been that good of a husband to her especially within the last two years. Granted I understand this last year has been hard on you both, but I thought losing the baby would've brought you guys closer. Hell I thought having Riley would make you grow up, but I guess I was wrong." Trent said while shrugging his shoulders all of sudden feeling exhausted telling Danny about himself and his relationship with Lisa.

"You're right... but what do I do now?" Danny asked Trent while turning his head towards him and seeing him walking towards the door to go back to the party.

"Well for starters actually apologizing and meaning it then letting her decide yall's fate instead of you and others deciding hers..."  Trent had said while walking away leaving Danny alone to think.
