Saturday Sept. 25th 10AM

It was a nice and sunny day at Graceland and since it was the last day of summer the weather was perfect. It wasn't too humid or hot, there was a nice calm breeze in the air; overall a perfect day to take a dip inside the pool.

"Daddy! Here I brought you some lemonade and a snack", Lisa had yelled softly while walking out of the living room into the backyard. She was wearing a deep red flowy midi spaghetti strapped sundress with a sweetheart neckline; her hair was clipped in a bun with some hair pieces framing her face and the only jewelry she wore that day was the dainty heart necklace her father gifted and her wedding ring. And since she was home she didn't wear any heavy makeup, if anything she let all her flaws and imperfections show, as she walked around barefooted outside letting her feet touch the warm gravel ground, each small pebble and the manicured green lawn.

Meanwhile an older, grayer and wiser version of her father was laid out on his lawn chair, enjoying the fruits of his labor while dressed in an all white linen suit soaking up the sun until he heard Lisa call his name.

"Oh darlin, you didn't need to do that." Elvis said, while sitting up and turning around to see Lisa was already by his side pouring him a glass of lemonade.

"I could have gotten up and gotten it myself", he chuckled.

"Daddy, I know... here try this!" Lisa had told him while handing him the lemonade she made him with a giddy, but shy smile. Elvis had taken the glass from her and shook his head at his little girl looking and waiting for his approval; he drinked the lemonade and smirked to himself then took another sip.

"So... how does is taste?"

Elvis had stopped drinking his lemonade and laughed at Lisa because he couldn't get over how adorable she was even though she was in her 20s now and how worried she still was if she thought he didn't like something.

"Sweetie the lemonade is perfect, just right. Like you." He said as he looked at Lisa and stroked her cheek softly with his thumb while smiling lightly at her.

"Thank you for spending the summer with me, I enjoyed you all."

"Daddy you're welcome and honestly I think we needed this, don't get me wrong I love the city; but sometimes those types of places get a bit too stuffy." Lisa had told him while she looked ahead to the pool to see the kids and their father splashing each other and having a good time.

"Well that's why I built Graceland, anytime I need to slow down, relax and enjoy peace this place is it... You know Yisa, I'm proud of you."

"You are?" Lisa asked, turning her attention back to him.

"I am. You've grown up to be such a good business woman, you went back to school and finished, and overall you're such a sweet and loving woman. I had thought the separation between your mother and I would damage you or the fame would, but it didn't. You didn't let those negative things control your story and what was meant for you. You have taken everything that life has thrown at you and fought back, now you're a mother of four with a loving and caring husband. I couldn't be any happier..."

Lisa's POV

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ

"Leave me alone" Lisa had cried out while holding the pillow tight, feeling her father and the perfect world she built for herself starting to slip away. Annoyed, she kept her eyes shut and ignored her phone, trying to drift back to sleep until her phone rang again.
