Lisa's Apartment ...
Lisa POV
It was around 2pm and Lisa was still trying to figure out what to pack for the weekend at Michael's place. She couldn't tell if her procrastination on packing was because she was nervous about spending the weekend with Michael or if she was more nervous about if Riley was going to like Michael.
The dinner date they had earlier that week went well and Riley seemed okay with him, but still Lisa wasn't too sure especially since this was the first man that Riley has seen her with. Sitting in the middle of her closet with clothes everywhere, Lisa runs her figure through her hair and sighs out loudly.
"Fuck", was all she thought and then her anxiety started to creep up on her making her wanting to call Michael and cancel the plans for the weekend.
"Hell, maybe you're not ready Lisa Marie?" She ended up mumbling to himself.
Breaking her train of thought she hears small little feet running and yelling. Look y
"MAMA! I'm ready."
Now standing in front of her, Lisa sees a very excited Riley who was fully dressed and holding her tinkerbell suitcase. "Oh wow, okay maybe it's just really me", Lisa had thought to herself while still staring at Riley.
"Mama, are you okay? Are we still going?" Riley had asked, noticing Lisa was still in her PJs and even saw her moms luggage was empty.
"Hmm. Yes sweetie I'm okay, it's just mommy's thinking about stuff that's all."
Curious and kind of worried, Riley ends up taking a seat next in front of her mom, giving her full attention hoping she would tell her what's wrong.
Ever since Riley was born she's always been her moms number one best friend and has been sensitive towards Lisa's feelings, anytime something was wrong she knew and tried her best way to help; even though her mother tries to hide her true feelings all of the time.
"Riles don't look at me like that, I'm okay it's just I don't know what to wear that's all. Maybe if I see what's in your bag I can get ideas!"
Riley smiles at her mom and then opens up her bag and all Lisa saw were toys. "Really girlfriend toys? Where are the clothes?"
"Ah in my room!", Riley giggled which made Lisa do the same. "Listen mommy Prince is a boy so he might not have tinkerbell, Princess Ariel, Cinderalla, Princess Tiana, or even a tea set!"
Lisa just looked at her daughter and started laughing because she could tell Riley was very serious and there was no way that she wasn't gonna change her mind.
"So it would just be a crime if we left them here huh?"
"Yes!"
Lisa laughed some more and harder at Riley and then decided to ask her about Michael and she felt about him.
"Hey Riley, can I ask you a question?"
"Yes."
"Do you like Mr. Michael and Prince?" "Prince is my friend and we play a lot at school and his daddy is nice. He bought me a cookie, remember!" Riley had told her mom and looked at funny because how could she forget about Michael buying her a cookie on Tuesday.
"Also mommy Mr. Michael is funny too! Remember the jokes and silly faces he was making at the restaurant. We even sung a song together."
Lisa just sat and listened to Riley pointing out all of the good things that have happened since meeting Michael and she didn't really have any complaints and he was pretty good with Riley.
