DOM AND BEGRUDGINGLY BLAKE MAY BE THE ONLY MEN I LIKE IN MY LIFE. At least right now. If I knew where my father was, if he was even alive, I'd include him. But I don't. And I'm not entirely sure if I want to find out. If I want to go to the trouble of miraculously travelling back to Germany, finding him - and being let down.
Maybe it's best to not know. There are so many people out here who do, who know their loved ones are dead, that I shouldn't take for granted the fact that I can live in a sort of ignorant bliss.
Anyway. Point is, I like Dom. I think I want to platonically marry him. He seems like he'd be a killer husband. He also told me ten minutes ago that if the two of us lived in the early two thousands, he'd totally join a bearded relationship with me.
My answer would have been yes by the way.
"I feel like I should get some tattoos." Dom says (speaking of the devil).
"Oh yeah?" I hum.
"But I don't know what to get."
"Well...I don't know - what's something thats been a constant throughout your life?"
"What do you mean?" He looks at me with confusion.
"You don't want to get something you'll have lost interest in in like a year or two. So get something you've been interested your whole life in and therefore you're less likely to regret it." I shrug.
"Okay. My whole life I've liked...um..."
"Just one thing dude."
"I'm trying!" He huffs, sounding exasperated.
"Me for example," I press a hand to my chest, "I like spiders. Always have. I know I always will. So, if I got a tattoo, I'd get a small spider behind my ear or something."
"Would that not scare people near you who think you have a spider behind your ear?" He frowns.
I shrug, "Their problem."
"Are you guys talking tattoos? Please tell me you're talking tattoos." Lope comes up from behind Dom and I, slinging her arms around the both of us.
"You got any?" I ask.
"Just one." She nods.
"Where?" I tilt my head, leaning out of her grip a little to search for it.
"You're not going to find it like that." She scoffs.
"Where is it then?"
"Nah, you gotta seduce me to earn that." Lope chuckles.
"How long does it take to seduce you then?" I ask, only half joking. She doesn't know that though.
"Usually months." Lope shrugs with a grin.
"I've barely known you three weeks." I frown, "I don't want to wait any more."
