Now, in this dark and fateful time,
Unsheathe your sword, commit your crime.
Strike me down with your bloodied sword,
Eyes shut tight, my heart is floored.
Yet within, my heart still perceives,
Hurry now, let fate deceive.
Just run and leave, as they have done,
Another wound, but I'll carry on.
It's one more betrayal in this dance,
Yet life moves on, in its cruel expanse.
Do it swiftly, before the night's end,
Before the moon fades, and shadows blend.
