Change is the chisel, carving our lives.
You've changed.
I've changed.
The seven worlds between us have changed.
I'm not sure where to lay the blame,
As we're both not quite the same. The change has ricocheted against us,
The stars now distant between us,
And we poured our hearts to strangers.
The once invisible string now endangers. In the dark sea, we searched for lost stars,
As change relentlessly crashed upon us,
Time dwindled us away,
Leaving no trace of our yesterday. What once began as beautiful moons,
Now exiles us with tears, too soon,
Yet, we still hold hands in the gravity of your words,
Drawing us together like tragic lovers. With each passing storm and shadowed hours,
We wore different scarves, lies grew.
Love's embers still burn within us,
But the question haunts me, dear.Change.
The different scarves.
The vanished stars,
It terrifies me, my dear,
What if our love story disappears?
What if we turn to ashes in our burning love's flame?
What if I lose you in the next storm?Halsey
