empty

Out in the streets,
With no winds blowing by,
Moon hiding behind those clouds,
And stars slumbered in the black sky,
I walk in the darkest night.

Stumbling upon the pebbles and rock,
I sing out a melody of solitude,
Hoping I would find solace to walk down the street,
But who would hear the melody in the darkest night?

As I walk, the song drowns in the dark,
Hearts gets heavy, and flee from the soul,
Leaving me desolate,
And alone in the darkest night.

So, here I walk,
With an empty heart,
With an empty poem,
With an empty soul,
Down the streets in the darkest night.
