In twilight's gentle embrace,
My soul longs for a slumber party,
While my heart yearns to escape,
Caught betwixt these desires, I am adrift.Lost amid life's pages,
A fervent quest for the elusive key,
I sometimes forget to live just for me.
Do I even love myself,
I ponder in the silent night?Reassurances whisper,
"It's infatuation, dear,
Love shall come like the wind, someday."
Yet, truth be told, I remain a stranger in my own book, in my own world.A stranger, harboring all my secrets,
Who might be my salvation or a treacherous foe, I cannot discern.Between these missing pages, how can I unveil my book to others?
Will they fathom what eludes even my grasp?
Or shall they dare open my tome, with its enigmatic gaps?Sometimes, those missing pages hold the essence of a life,
the very soul of this stranger, who continues her quest.
May she unearth them before they vanish, lost forever in life's mirage. In the midst of this poetic dance,
I hope she finds her way,
and the missing pages become the tapestry of her story.Halsey
