Kate avoided me after the fight so, I spent more time with Alice to help us both understand the force from both the light and dark side. As each day passed, we both learned new things about the force from both sides and we got closer together.
"Take a deep breath, close your eyes." I murmured as I slowly closed my eyes. "Feel the force run through you, let it surround you. Breathe in and then breathe out." I whispered and took a deep breath.
Alice did not say another word as I heard her brethe in and out and I sensed her feelings. She was calm, relaxed. She was feeling the force around her like I did. We both sat, legs crossed for a long time. I wanted to take our training day by day. Little by little.
"So, what are you doing?" I heard Kate's voice and I lost my focus and opened my eyes.
"Oh, sorry," Kate said as she rubbed her arms awkwardly. "Did I--"
"We were just meditating, feeling the force." Alice sighed.
"Oh," Kate responded with a quick nod. "I see, I guess I should have known." Kate said and looked down at the ground quickly and looked back up and looked back at me. "Well, I am about to go land our ship, I have to pay someone money."
"Where? Why?" I asked and raised an eyebrow.
"We are going to Takodana." Kate answered.
"Did you get the parts for our ship from Unkar Plutt?" Alice asked.
"Who's Unkar Plutt?" I asked and looked at Alice.
"He's not a good or trustworthy guy. He gives scavengers portions of food for parts. But it is never enough. His workers always end up starving. But he has parts like for driods, ships. All that stuff. But he rips off people. Underpays his workers, clinets even." Alice answered and glared at Kate. "How could you be so stupid? Kate, Unkar Plutt has already ripped us off once. Why are we going on Takodana when his people live on Jakku?" Alice asked and got up.
"Why is Unkar Plutt in Takodana?" I asked.
"He goes to a bar there." Kate answered. "Loosens up, I suppose."
"Answer me!" Alice growled.
"I had no other choice, nobody wanted to help me." Kate answered
"Well, let's hope this will be quick." Alice sighed and shook her head.
