After we got back on the ship, Alice took over and was the pilot so, I wanted to advatange of that and talk to Kate alone. I knocked on her bedroom door and after a few moments, the door opened and she said no word but raised an eyebrow at me.

"Look, I just wanted to talk." I said, nervously.

"Okay," Kate sighed as she rolled her eyes and extendee her arm. "Come on in then, Ren."

"Thanks," I responded and walked in her room. "I understand why you were upset and mad at me."

"You do?" Kate asked and shut her bedroom door.

"Yeah," I sighed and sat on her bed. "I wanted to apologize."

"You didn't hurt me."

"My actions did." I pointed out.

"Yes." Kate mumbled and sat next to me.

"You were right," I sighed. "I killed my father for no good reason. I had a choice. Kylo asked me to scare him and Rey off and I didn't listen."

"Is she that same girl we talked about earlier?" Kate asked.

"Yes, she is."

"If Kylo hates you then why did he let you live?" Kate asked and crossed her arms.

"To punish me," I started to say. "Death is too easy."

"I guess that is a good point," Kate mumbled, taking that in. "The best kind of revenge, I suppose."

"I regret killing Han, I wish I could take it back." I said.

"But you can't." Kate whispered as she looked at me.

"I wish I could." I said and frowned at her and I teared up, feeling the guilt. I knew I could never forgive myself for my crime. I knew Kylo had every right to kill me, if he wanted.

"I forgive you."

"You do?" I asked and raised an eyebrow.

"I do, yes." Kate answered with a warm smile.

"Thank you." I said, smiling back.

"I guess you're not so bad for Alice."

"I'm not?" I laughed.

"She has feelings for you."

"I have feelings for her too."

"I know you do." Kate said with a grin.

"I will take care of her 'til the day I die," I said. "I promise."

"You better," Kate giggled. "Or else, I will kill you myself."
