Alice and I had gotten married shortly after Kate decided to do her own thing. Some may have said we rushed into it if I bothered to care and asked someone, but we didn't care. As far as we knew, it was now or never, and we were madly in love. I could not see a future without her.

I thought about changing my name since we had gotten married. I hated Ren. It was the name Viscount had given me and I wanted nothing more than to do with him. But what could my new name be? Who could I be? I'm not Ren. The guy who married us was Dean. That is not a terrible name.

Time passed and I thought about my brother, Kylo and where we left it off. I still hated myself for what had happened with our father.

Alice and I flew our ship in a peaceful silence when our radio went off.

"Somebody help!" A man shouted.

"Who is this?" Alice quickly asked worried for the stranger.

"My name is Finn. My friend, Rey is in danger. In fact, we all are." Finn explained. "I am with the resistance. But back up can't fight this off!" Finn shouted.

"Rey?" I mumbled chewing at the name. The name sounded familiar but I couldn't put the puzzle together in my head.

Then it hit me. Rey. Rey was the same girl who watched me kill my father and who I knew Kylo cared for in some sort of way.

"Rey is the girl I saw when I killed my father. If she's there...." I whispered in Alice's ear. "Kylo will be there."

"You can't go, he will kill you." Alice reminded me.

"Alice, Rey needs us and if Kylo finds and kills me, I deserve it."

"No, you don't, you are a different person now."

"Alice, please let me help her, please? Maybe if Kylo is in the dark side still, I can save him." I pleaded with her.

"Fine." Alice sighed and turned facing the radio. "Where are you? Can you say where you are located?" Alice asked.

"Exegol, the planet Exegol." Finn answered.

"We'll try helping the best way we can... I promise, Finn." Alice assured.

"Thank you, thank you." Finn said and hung up.

"Should we ask Kate for back up?" Alice asked.

"And put her in danger? No." I protested.

"She is our friend, and she knows more about this war stuff than us. Besides, she is a nurse." Alice replied.

"I can't be the cause of another death. I don't even want you to fight." I argued.

"Ren," Alice sighed. "I won't ask her to fight. I'll ask her to help nurse us or anyone who needs help." Alice assured me.

"And as for you?"

"I'll be fine." Alice answered in a soft whisper as she rubbed my back.

"You promise?" I asked.

"I promise."

I was still not completely okay with either of them fighting by my side, but I knew better than to argue with her. So, Kate joined our ship and we headed for the war.

"Alice, I have to go!" I shouted as I slayed a storm trooper.

"Ren, no!" Alice pleaded.

"I have to. I need to tell Ben that I'm sorry." I replied and started to run and paused and looked back at Alice.

"It's not safe out there. You could be killed." Kate warned.

"My brother needs me." I said.

"But I need you, Ren." Alice teared up.

"I will return... I promise." I assured her.

"Ren?" Alice murmured.

"Yes, Alice?" I replied.

"I love you." Alice teared up.

I ran to her and hugged her tight. "I love you too." I whispered. "I want to rename myself." I announced.

"You're not Ren anymore?" Alice answered.

"No, I was never Ren. I am a Solo." I smiled at her.

"What is it?" Alice asked smiling back at me.

"Dean." I answered and ran off.
